We build strong community by inspiring, educating and mobilizing volunteers to address community needs in Story County. We have been serving Story County since 1982. To accomplish our mission we: · Connect volunteers with volunteer opportunities throughout Story County. · Promote volunteering and community involvement. · Recognize volunteers. · Educate volunteer leaders.

The Milwaukee Area Health Education Center (Milwaukee-AHEC) connects students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health. Since 1992, Milwaukee-AHEC has worked to forge collaborative partnerships with health-related employers, community-based organizations, academic institutions, and other sectors to advance community and public health that will impact health outcomes.

Two Feet Project is an organization dedicated to instilling hope and promoting positive change in the youth of Kenya. Using mentorship programs and sports as platforms, Two Feet Project aims to equip Kenya’s underprivileged youth with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to overcome the obstacles that keep much of Kenya’s population in poverty.  Two Feet Project strives to prepare the Kenyan youth to be catalyst for change in their own communities and for them to be examples of leadership as they stand on their own two feet and end the cycle of perpetual poverty and hopelessness that permeates their culture.

This Fund will be administered by the Palmetto Project (a South Carolina non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of South Carolians). 100% of the funds donated will be used in this community to support local initiatives serving his home church, vulnerable populations and youth projects that Reverend Pinckney was so passionate about. Decisions on the use of these funds will be made a task force of stakeholders made up of a member or members of Reverend Pinckney’s family, colleagues, representatives from Emanuel AME Church and other members of our community selected for their specific expertise. 

The mission of The Cedarmore Corporation is to improve the educational, social and emotional development of youth representing the diverse population of families from the New York metropolitan area. We educate, elevate and motivate others to achieve healthy, productive lives. TOGETHER WE THRIVE aims to connect at-risk, homeless and foster youth across North Texas with their community. They commit to walk beside these youth while helping them rewrite their future. They seek to replace labels of loneliness and hopelessness that once defined them with opportunities and the ability to get to a place of sustainability. Their mission is to provide academically motivated students from under-resourced New York City high schools with a three-year summer program of enriched academic and cultural activities; to promote connections between CSSP students and families in our community; and to help prepare our students for college and expose them to career options to support their future personal success.

Team Up is a custom nonprofit that empowers social activists to create their own charitable campaigns globally. They aim to support both large and small charitable campaigns whether it’s in your community or across the world. At Team Up, they truly believe that everyone is capable of giving back to the world.

Based on the bedrock foundation of "love your fellow as yourself.”The Friendship Circle provides organized physical and social structures to support inclusive friendships, connections, respite, and fulfillment for youth with special needs, young adult volunteers, their respective families and the Jewish community at large.Through fun and interactive experiences, these relationships bring a sense of joy and meaning to the Friendship Circle community and beyond

Education comes in many different forms throughout a child’s life and Growe believes that experiential learning is crucial to shaping children’s understanding, values and behavior. By providing children with engaging educational experiences that connect them to food, how it’s grown and why fruits and vegetables are essential to their diet, we aim to address the childhood health issues and the environmental problems facing society.

The National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) brings together organizations committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). NGCP connects, creates, and collaborates with advocates for transformative change to advance the agenda in gender equity and expand girls’ participation in STEM. For more than 20 years, we have been transforming STEM.
