The San Diego Delta Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization founded by professional African American women in 1999 and was incorporated in 2000. Our mission is to support projects and activities which contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for African Americans and residents of San Diego. Empowering Young Women to be Leaders The Leadership Development Intern Program was established by the San Diego Delta Foundation In 2001. The Leadership Program is a three (3) year Program that provides academic and cultural enrichment along with leadership development for African-American girls in grades 10-12 from schools throughout San Diego County. The Program offers a framework in which the Interns can explore leadership opportunities that prepare them to meet the challenges that lie ahead in college and in life. The Foundation is extremely proud of their accomplishments of all the young ladies who have been a part of the Leadership Program.

Extreme Kids & Crew, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is a welcoming community center where children with disabilities can socialize, create and play, and their families can join in the fun while sharing disability specific resources with other caretakers. Through arts and play based programming, caregivers, siblings and children of all abilities come together to explore, connect and gain confidence. We believe in fostering and celebrating our local disability community and the larger community of disability around the country and world. Our playspaces allow children with disabilities to find, hone, and display their particular talents, fine tune their socialization and fine motor skills, and make friends among a diverse group of people. Our blog, cultural events, and the Felix Awards, use the arts to reach out to a larger sphere. We aim both to combat the isolation the disability community often feels when faced with a culture that rarely acknowledges the complexity and worth of people with disabilities, and to change the larger public’s concept of what it means to be disabled.

CMP promotes economic self-sufficiency and career advancement through equipping individuals with job & educational skills, credentials, leadership qualities, and entrepreneurship opportunities. We work with all segments of society, with a distinct track record serving the asian american community.

Hands of Peace is an interfaith organization that empowers young people to raise their voices as leaders of change. Through the power of dialogue, Palestinians, Israelis and Americans partner to pursue peace, equality, freedom and justice. Hands of Peace believes the future depends on the leadership of the next generation.

Founded more than a century ago to serve the Jewish people, 92nd Street Y promotes individual and family development and participation in civic life within the context of Jewish values and American pluralism. The Twilight Brigade is a California-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1997 for the primary purpose of raising society’s consciousness about the needs of the dying, especially Veterans -- through community and professional education, advocacy, and direct service to the terminally ill and their loved ones, ensuring that no one need die alone.

Mission: Rotary Youth Camp provides a life-changing camping experience for disabled and disadvantaged youth. The Chinese Progressive Association is a grassroots community organization which works for full equality and empowerment of the Chinese community in the Greater Boston area and beyond. Our activities seek to improve the living and working conditions of Chinese Americans and to involve ordinary community members in making decisions that affect our lives.

That Others May Live Foundation provides immediate tragedy assistance, critical support, and scholarships for the families of U.S Air Force Rescue service members who are killed or wounded in operational or training missions. TOMLF also provides advocacy, guidance, and support to U.S. Air Force Rescue service members, veterans, and families affected by visible and invisible wounds.

"Make your disabilities irrelevant"........To provide life changing outdoor educational experiences to physically disabled children. Camp Wamp is located in North Lake Tahoe in the High Sierras, and is about encouraging teamwork where everyone is included to experience the outdoors and create lifetime memories.
