Trenton Childrens Chorus

Empowering the academic, social and spiritual lives of children through artistry in music

Sunaayy Foundation

Sunaayy is strongly motivated towards creating a better world through education. To this end, we at Sunaayy, remain dedicated towards providing basic education to children between the ages 3 to 12 who are unable to receive its benefits elsewhere, by holding classes at a time convenient to them and their families. We strive to work as a team with parents, educators and children, to impart an understanding of the life-changing value of education and its integral place in a child's life. We inspire and motivate children to develop academically, socially and morally, with a healthy respect for oneself, others and the environment. Sunaayy provides a setting that makes learning fun, and also encourages children to become independent and confident. We remain committed to the safety of our children.

Made In Brownsville

Made in Brownsville wants to make technology and design/build creativity accessible to at-risk youth in Brownsville. We seek to employ youth to learn iterative design, fabrication, multimedia marketing and communication skills to give them the technical and leadership tools they need to change the narrative for themselves and their community. We believe that there are incredible gifts in Brownsville youth that can be triggered through actively engaging their interest through science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) content; and bridging the gap between them and opportunities to exercise those principles with real projects. Made in Brownsville engages at-risk youth to change the narrative and reality of violence and chronic disease through community organizing, planning and design.

Nido De Esperanza Charitable Society

Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by changing the first 1,000 days of a child's life. We work with our families living below the poverty line from pregnancy through the child’s third birthday. We believe in tackling poverty neighborhood by neighborhood and empowering the mamas. Community matters- particularly when you are a new immigrant mama. Knowledge matters- particularly when you didn’t have strong role models growing up.Books matter – particularly when you don’t have any in your home. Food matters – it is hard to learn and focus if you are hungry. We get it. We see it every day. We are changing it - day by day, child by child, neighborhood by neighborhood.

Out Youth Austin

Out Youth promotes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of sexual and gender minority youth so that they can openly and safely explore and affirm their identities. We serve Central Texas LGBTQIA+ (lesbian/gay/bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning, intersex, and asexual) youth and their allies with programs and services to ensure these promising young people develop into happy, healthy, successful adults. Founded in 1990, Out Youth has grown and changed over the years, but we’ve always retained our most important facet – providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to come together, receive support, and make friends who understand who they are. We host a variety of programs and services for youth and provide trainings and resources for parents, teachers, and community members.
