The mission of Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow is to help disadvantaged youth and adults recognize their own self-worth, and advance towards self-sufficiency and financial security through job training, academic reinforcement, improved life skills, job placement, and support services. OBT approaches all of its programmatic endeavors with the three principles in mind: 1) Confidence: OBT’s programs seek to instill confidence in participants so that they can increase their self-esteem and improve their chances to succeed. 2) Discipline: OBT’s training model stresses personal discipline. OBT’s high standards and expectations hold participants accountable for their own success, making no excuses if they fail. 3) Professionalism: All of OBT’s programs are modeled after a “simulated” corporate work environment. Participants are required to dress and groom professionally, be on time each day, handle work assignments with deadlines, and act as they would be expected to behave at work.

The overall mission of Blue Hope is to raise funds, resources, social awareness, and provide other support for a variety of self-sustaining social development projects and programs, both domestically and abroad, in order to effectively fight social injustice at a grass roots level. As of its founding, Blue Hope is primarily focusing on working with education, poverty, and children’s issues in Tanzania, East Africa and has done so by constructing and supporting a residential and educational facility and its outreach program. House of Blue Hope pulls kids off the streets and puts them into a safe living and learning environment. With such access to one of the top schools in the country, the current and future residents of the House of Blue Hope will be provided with top-notch educational opportunities in a country in which only about 12% of the population receives a secondary education. Furthermore, the facility has become a large part of the local high school’s community service program, as well as a catalyst to keep alumni involved and connected after graduation.

It Takes a Village Africa is a community development non-profit organization that provides self-sufficient solutions for education, healthcare, and agriculture.

A Christ-centered ministry that provides Hope, Healing, and Support for those who are grieving a death loss. Currently, they service the greater West Michigan area, but have a vision to reach a broader demographic in the near future with our grief-support services.

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child's serious illness. Since our founding in 1979, we have grown from a single location with room for eight families to four locations with 71 overnight rooms, a daily meal program that serves hundreds of day-use families and visitors, an on-site K-12 school, and age-appropriate programming to support all family members.

Gifting Dreamers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to assist at-risk youth with life skills and mentoring to help them reach their full potential as positive, productive, caring, responsible individuals in Metro Detroit.

Our Mission:To provide equine assisted therapy for individuals and families recovering from a traumatic experience and/or to improve the quality of life of childrenand adults with disabilities through human and horse interaction.
