East Palo Alto Kids Foundation

The East Palo Alto Kids Foundation (EPAK) is a community-based, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to promote educational opportunity and academic success for students in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park. EPAK provides micro-grants directly to classroom teachers and finds sponsors to fund sponsored projects that significantly impact the learning environment for more than one classroom of students.

Our Military Kids

Our Military Kids supports military children (ages 3 - 12th grade) by funding sports, arts, and other enrichment activities when their parents are deployed overseas with the National Guard or Reserve or recovering from severe injuries sustained in a post-9/11 overseas mission. Participation in these activities helps military children cope with stress and build self-confidence during an otherwise difficult time in their lives.

Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation

  The Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation was established by 96 WHNN morning personality Johnny Burke, to help children in unfortunate situations. Media personalities often encounter kids in need of expensive medical treatment or equipment, kids who have lost their parents or have other challenges. The goal of the Foundation is to help these kids by raising money through out the year with a series of fun events…ensuring the immediate availability of funds in times of need.

Stafford Junction

Stafford Junction is a charitable non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization serving children and families who live in poverty in Stafford County. We currently serve 7 low-income neighborhoods and 7 schools to which we deliver our programs and services. We work in partnership and collaboration with many individuals, organizations, schools, businesses, churches, and funding partners to provide effective and efficient delivery of our programs and services.

Leveling the Playing Field

Leveling the Playing Field gives kids from under-resourced communities the opportunity to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of youth sports participation. We do this through the donation of used and excess sporting equipment to programs and schools serving low-income communities. Our donations allow programs to allocate funds saved by lowering registration fees, expanding their scholarship programs, enhancing their existing athletic program and/or developing new ones.

Angels of Americas Fallen

Angels of America’s Fallen: Honoring our fallen heroes Supporting their children Angels of America’s Fallen is completely dedicated to honoring the legacy of our fallen military and first responders by helping their children grow and develop into strong and successful adults. As a non-profit organization we directly fund the healthy and developmental activity of each child’s choice, which involves a coach or instructor. Their parent gave all for our legacy. What will we give for theirs?

TITUS II COMMUNITY DANCE MINISTRY

Titus II Community Dance Ministry, Inc. is a non-profit organization which raises funds to train ourselves so that we can train dancers and dance ministries. We also provide garments to start-up dance ministries, and we raise money for one blossoming dancer to attend technique classes at a local dance studio. Team Ten 4 Kids

Founded in 2017, Team Ten 4 Kids Inc is a volunteer-based organization that works with existing child welfare and child-focused nonprofit organizations in central FL communities to identify gaps in care or special needs and works with corporations and donors to fulfill their funding needs. Team Ten 4 Kids conducts at least 2 fundraising and friend-raising events to assist local charities.and provides sustainable support to meet their mission needs.

Firefighters Burn Institute

The Firefighters Burn Institute is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by Sacramento Fire Captain Cliff Haskell and the Sacramento Area Firefighters, Local 522 in 1973 for the purpose of establishing a local burn treatment facility; providing recovery programs for burn survivors; promoting fire and burn prevention through public education; funding education for medical burn team professionals, firefighters, and burn survivors; and supporting burn treatment and rehabilitation research.

Smile 4 Kids

Smile 4 Kids is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization that works to enrich the lives of children experiencing hardship by providing hope, instilling resilience, and developing opportunities to succeed. Their team works to create and maintain long-term relationships with all types of children. Where some organizations work mainly to raise funds, we set ourselves apart in the relationships we build with children. Their purpose is to provide stability and the confidence that they are not alone through their hardships.

TIMANOUS FOUNDATION

Timanous is dedicated to providing a camp life that builds character and has lasting value for every boy. This camp life features: simple, active living in a rustic environment; deep respect for the rights and self-worth of every individual; and the holistic growth of body, mind and spirit. Our main fundraising focus is to grow the Sandy Tattersall Fund endowment, which provides financial assistance to current and future generations of boys who would otherwise not be able to attend Timanous.

Shred Kids Cancer

Shred Kids' Cancer is a 501c3 non-profit public charitable organization dedicated to serving our community by offering a solution for kids to help fight kids' cancer and show their peers who are suffering that they are here to help them. This is an organization made up of kids and started by a kid. Kids can use their creativity and organization skills (with the guidance of adults)  to make a difference by raising funds to support research that leads to improving the care, quality of life and survival rate of children with cancer.
