To help youth in foster care to heal and grow from trauma & rejection through the power of storytelling and filmmaking; changing the trajectory of these youth, from adversity to achievement. KITS’ Screenwriting and Filmmaking Program delivers comprehensive and therapeutic arts education/training, which has assisted our youth in mitigating their pain and finding their power; as well as securing entry level jobs, internships and post-secondary school admission. Each year culminates in an annual KITS Awards – our version of the "Academy Awards".

Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) was founded in 1976 to to improve the health, independence and social integration of people with physical disabilities of all ages through sports, recreation and fitness programs.

Our mission at Bitiya is to provide educational and vocational opportunities for underprivileged young girls and women. This enables them to build their self esteem, social skills, and knowledge necessary to become an independent member of society.

Our mission is to transform lives through year-round recreational and social programs for children and their families challenged with pediatric cancer or another life threatening illness. All programs are provided at no cost to the child and their family.

The Foundation for Leadership and Youth Travel Education (FLYTE) is a nonprofit providing funding, teacher support, and itinerary and trip planning for high school students in underserved schools to travel and expand their cultural, academic, and social horizons.

BGCL’s mission is to maintain a Club for all youth without distinction of race, sex, color or creed; to provide behavior guidance and to promote the health, social, educational, vocational and character development of all our members.

LUCY ACCEPTS AND WELCOMES ALL YOUTH TO TAKE PART IN EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND SERVICE-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING, AND ALSO PROVIDES IN-HOME AND IN-SCHOOL SERVICES AND RESOURCES. Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest provides social, educational, physical and cultural programming for boys and girls in the MetroWest area. The intent of these programs is to enhance the development of children and to prepare young adults to be responsible and productive members of the community.

The Coro New York Leadership Center was founded on the principle that an informed and engaged citizenry and broad public participation are critical to a vital democratic society. We are committed to equipping individuals of all ages and from all backgrounds with the knowledge and skills they need to play active leadership roles across the public, private and non-profit sectors. We teach Coro participants how policy decisions are made in New York, the avenues that exist for citizen participation, and the skills they need to effect change on behalf of the cause or community to which they are committed.

SAFEchild’s mission is to eliminate child abuse in Wake County by helping adults and children create nurturing environments free from abuse and neglect. SAFEchild is the only nonprofit child abuse prevention agency in Wake County working directly with families. SAFEchild offers parent education and support services to families to prevent abuse and neglect, and changes the long-term effects of abuse if it has occurred. The goal for each family turning to SAFEchild is the same: To build a stronger family and create a healthy, nurturing environment that enables children to thrive.
