The Riekes Center, founded in 1996, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Fair Oaks neighborhood of Menlo Park. We serve 7,000+ students a year from East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City, as well as across the Bay Area and around the world. Our mission is to provide community members of all ages with the best possible opportunity to define and accomplish their individual goals, build character, and learn transferable life skills while participating in our Athletic Fitness, Creative Arts, Nature Awareness, and Community Service programs. We provide these opportunities regardless of a person's ability to pay or perform.

The Impact Center / Social Impact Center

The Impact Center was created with the singular goal of connecting students with meaningful service opportunities that help transform their passion into action. The Samaritan Center At The Jersey Shore

The mission of The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore is to provide hope and resiliency by providing professional counseling and prevention education and awareness programs. We are a non-profit corporation established to provide individuals, couples and families with the inner strength and emotional resources to advance their emotional, spiritual, mental health and wellness with quality professional counseling and coaching services. Our staff is dedicated to integrating one’s faith and honors people from all backgrounds and beliefs. We work very hard to ensure cost is not a barrier.

Ruth Ellis Center

The Ruth Ellis Center (REC), incorporated in 1999, is a youth social services agency with a mission “to provide short-term and long-term residential safe space and support services for runaway, homeless, and at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.” As LGBTQ youth continue to be disproportionately affected by homelessness, the Ruth Ellis Center remains dedicated to ensuring that these vulnerable youth and young adults receive the services and inherent protections available to all citizens. While the Center emphasizes serving LGBTQ youth who are often ostracized, shamed, and denied services by other agencies, no youth, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is turned away or denied services

The Center For Grieving Children

THE CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN PROVIDES A SAFE SPACE, LOVING PEER SUPPORT, OUTREACH, AND EDUCATION TO GRIEVING CHILDREN, TEENS, FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY. OFFERING OUR SERVICES AT NO CHARGE, FOR AS LONG AS PEOPLE NEED THEM, OUR SERVICES ENCOURAGE THE SAFE EXPRESSION OF GRIEF AND LOSS AND FOSTER EACH INDIVIDUAL'S RESILIENCE AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING. WE NOW OPERATE TWO LOCATIONS IN PORTLAND AND SANFORD.

The Mar Vista Family Center

The mission of Mar Vista Family Center (MVFC) is to provide low-income families with early childhood education, youth enrichment, and educational tools to create positive change in their lives and their community.  Every program adheres to the basic premise that it is critical to empower children, teens and adults to play vital and responsible roles -- as decision-makers, community leaders, mentors, classroom volunteers and fundraisers.
