The Association of Neighbourhood Houses is a private non-profit social service agency representing seven individual neighbourhood houses and one outdoor centre located throughout the Vancouver Lower Mainland. (A list of individual houses can be found in the Donate Now section under "Funds/Designation"). The society has been in existence in British Columbia since 1894 serving the ever changing needs of a variety of diverse neighbourhoods and communities. We endeavor to provide a warm and friendly place where people of all ages and nationalities come together to meet the needs of their neighbourhood and play an active role in making their communities better places to live healthy, full lives. We welcome and encourage you to donate either globally to the Association of Neighbourhood Houses or individually to any one of our member units.

Science World is unique in providing children and families with access to cutting edge, curriculum-linked galleries, films and hands-on educational programs at TELUS World of Science in Vancouver. Our facility also houses the OMNIMAX® Theatre, which features one of the largest dome screens in the world. Science World endeavours to touch the lives of more British Columbian families and students each year, and has connected with nearly eight million visitors since opening in 1989.

Notre Dame rose out of the prairies to become the institution it is today because of Monsignor Athol Murray's determination, intelligence, high ideals, and above all - an unwavering belief in God and the primacy of the spiritual. Atira Women's Resource Society is a not-for-profit organization committed to the work of ending violence against women through providing direct service, as well as working to increase awareness of and education around the scope and impact on our communities of men's violence against women and children.

The major responsibilities of the AJC are Israel advocacy, community relations, fighting anti-Semitism, Holocaust education and promoting interfaith dialogue and multiculturalism. Through our Regional Chaplain, we attempt to provide some religious presence to those communities that can no longer sustain full-time rabbinical services. Shalom magazine, published three times a year, brings our whole region together with news and views from Atlantic Canada. Camp Kadimah is owned and operated by the AJC, and is considered to be one of Jewish Canada's foremost summer camps. The AJC acts as a spokesperson for our region on a local and national level to government and many Jewish and non-Jewish organizations. We conduct the annual UJA campaign to attain our objectives. We are an umbrella organization with responsibilities throughout the region including representing Atlantic Jewry on the national boards of CIJA and JFC-UIA.

Notre mission consiste à outiller les jeunes hommes de 18 à 35 ans qui nécessitent un accompagnement afin de pouvoir reprendre leur place dans la société. Nous leur fournissons un gîte, de la nourriture et des activités de soutien à leur croissance personnelle afin qu’ils puissent surpasser leurs limites et développer leur affiliation sociale. Un deuxième volet de notre mission consiste à faciliter l’insertion sur le marché du travail des jeunes de 18 à 35 ans par le biais d’organisation de projets de réinsertion sociale et d’activités diverses. ***NB: FRAIS DE GESTION DE 3,9% PAR CANADON.***

ARC is a member-based not for profit organization. ARC's mandate is to work with volunteers, partners, stakeholders and the community to: - Deliver programs and service to individuals with ASD ages 19 to 35 - Provide support to adults with ASD and their families - Advocate for the needs of the ASD community within the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region - Design, implement and deliver the summer programs for ages 7 years and older - Generate funds to support the services of the Autism Resource Centre

A local charity supporting individuals with physical disabilities to live dignified, productive and independent lives in the community. We work with partners in the region to make our communities accessible to all citizens, regardless of their physical abilities.

Barrie Public Library has been providing library services to the City of Barrie for over 150 years. As a vital service provider in the community of Barrie, the public library is a catalyst for imagination, a conduit to information and the cornerstone of the community. With the arrival of the digital age and the natural evolution of our wonderful city, the role of the Barrie Public Library has continued to evolve. We support the joy of reading and discovery, which contribute to the economic and cultural life of the city. The Library enables greater opportunities at work and school for our residents, provides vital public space and ensures all Barrie residents have access to books in all their forms, for all their needs. Your donation will enable the Library to continue to offer high quality programs and services to meet the needs of our growing community. Small ... Inclusive ... Diverse ... Non-traditional Four words that say a lot about the Bathurst congregation. We are a small group with no church property, worshiping in the chapel at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church on Sunday mornings from September until June. During the summer we hold mid-week evening gatherings in members' homes. We are inclusive in many ways. Our members work with our minister to plan the services. They often deliver the sermon and lead the service. Our services are non-traditional. They reflect our concerns for social and economic justice and our relationship with the earth. We seek to offer an expansive embrace of welcome to people of diverse backgrounds. We nurture the Spirit by honoring and respecting individual needs and gifts. Bathurst United is an Affirming Congregation. We welcome gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered people as full participants in all aspects of our ministry.
