At Sue Ryder we're passionate about giving people the care they want. Some people believe that once you have a life-changing illness, there's little left. We don't. At Sue Ryder we believe it is the beginning of a challenging new stage of life. We work closely with health and social care professionals to offer care that's tailored to each person's needs. By talking to each person individually we find out what they need and help them to live their lives. We also strive to look after their mental and physical wellbeing, and provide support for their carers, friends and families. We are also committed to improving standards in long-term and end of life care and have ongoing programmes of innovation and research.

Arise Foundation

Arise's vision is a world without slavery in which the dignity of every person is respected! To this end, Arise is working to prevent slavery and human trafficking in some of the worst affected areas in the world. We believe that local groups and their networks are a hugely powerful, but marginalised and underdeveloped, resource in the fight against slavery. We provide support to frontline organisations and their networks, through strategic grant giving, direct partnership, training and capacity building. We work with them, leading thought leaders and universities to conduct research into the effectiveness of their models. We amplify their voices within the human rights and policy communities and advocate for change.
