COC Netherlands is the Dutch LGBTI organization and an international LGBTI human rights organization supporting activists in over 35 countries world wide. Our mission is to reduce the number of casualties caused by explosive remnants of war (ERW), providing the affected groups with free and state-of-the-art Mine Risk Education. By working together with local authorities and NGOs, we implement inclusive and sustainable projects which will increase the local populations' awareness about ERWs.

Moustaqbel (means Future in Arabic) strives to provide them with a safe home that cherishes education, offering them the environment they need to thrive. This way we give them the opportunity to follow a university education. Moustaqbel Listens to girls from rural areas to understand their needs; Believes in the power of every rural girl; Offers in-house educational and cultural activities that develop the necessary skills to increase their chances on the labour market; Helps girls whose financially disadvantaged parents are unable to provide them with the funds to pursue higher education; Advocates for the rights of girls from rural areas; Pleads for an education system that gives every boy and girl a real chance to escape poverty. Zahana in Madagascar is dedicated to participatory rural development, education, revitalization of traditional Malagasy medicine, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture. It is Zahana's philosophy that participatory development must be based on local needs and solutions proposed by local people. It means asking communities what they need and working with them collaboratively so they can achieve their goals. Each community's own needs are unique and require a tailor -made response

We believe that refugee camps should be more inclusive, more self-sustaining and providing refugees with a better quality of life and adaptation process to their new environments. With collaborative efforts with interested corporations, other charities, refugees, volunteers, and donations, we are activating a network that re-defines the global refugee camps.
