Ozone House

Ozone House is a community-based, nonprofit agency that helps young people lead safe, healthy and productive lives through intensive prevention and intervention services. Since 1969, Ozone House has actively developed unique, high-quality housing and support programs and services that provide support, intervention, training, and assistance to runaway, homeless and high-risk youth and their families.  Through these support services, we help youth develop essential life skills, improve their relationships, and enhance self-image so that they realize their full potential for growth and happiness. Ozone House works with youth ages 10-20 in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

We provide a safe, sober, and loving environment that challenges women to respect and love themselves, confront emotional and socio-economic issues, and transition to stable and independent lives.

Romero House

Romero House is a community of four houses and a neighbourhood centre in the area north of high park and south of the “junction”, in the west end of Toronto . We provide transitional housing to our residents, as well as drop in settlement services to any refugees that walk through the door. These services include assistance with refugee claim process and legal aspects; help with finding and retaining housing, emotional and social support, practical items such as furniture and clothing and variety of community building activities. Staff and interns live with our residents as neighbours and companions, seeking to realise our vision of accompaniment in their daily life and work. The community this forms sets Romero House apart from most shelters and allows us to welcome refugees with open arms and hearts and provide the support they need to prosper in Canada. Family House

Family House is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing homeless families in crisis with professional, comprehensive housing and social services in a safe, caring environment. Most of the families we serve are from Toledo, however 15% of those served are outside of Ohio. Most homeless shelters around the country segregate family members in shelters. Family House is unique as we keep the family together. Families consist of: married couples with children, unmarried couples with children, single parents and pregnant mothers
