The mission of First Person Arts (FPA) is to transform the drama of real life into memoir and documentary art to foster appreciation of our unique and shared experiences. Our vision is to be a platform for everyday people and artists to explore the personal stories they must tell now. We will listen to the issues and themes that matter to them and life up their voices through our programming.

LISTEN FIRST PROJECT ENCOURAGES CONVERSATIONS THAT PRIORITIZE UNDERSTANDING TO BRIDGE DIVIDES AND MEND OUR FRAYED SOCIAL FABRIC, ADDRESSING THE UNIVERSALLY FELT CRISIS OF DIVISION AND DEHUMANIZATION ACROSS DIFFERENCES. WE CATALYZE THE LISTENFIRST MOVEMENT POWERED BY ~250 PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS, AND NATIONAL CONVERSATION PROJECT. LFP FOCUSES ON SOCIETY AT LARGE, SCHOOLS, AND WORKPLACES WHILE RECOGNIZING THOSE WHO CHAMPION THE LISTEN FIRST MISSION. NATIONAL CONVERSATION PROJECT IS AN OVERARCHING, COLLABORATIVE PLATFORM THAT AGGREGATES, ALIGNS, AND AMPLIFIES THE EFFORTS OF ALL PARTNERS TO MAINSTREAM CONVERSATIONS IN WHICH WE LISTENFIRST TO UNDERSTAND. NCP PROMOTES ANNUAL NATIONAL WEEKS OF CONVERSATION, LISTENFIRST FRIDAYS, CONVERSATIONS ON MAJOR ISSUES TOWARD COMMON GROUND SOLUTIONS, RAPID RESPONSE CONVERSATIONS ON URGENT TOPICS, LOCALLY-FOCUSED LISTENFIRST MOVEMENTS, AND ANY CONVERSATION INVITING PEOPLE OF ALL STRIPES TO REVITALIZE AMERICA TOGETHER.

The First Amendment Foundation believes that government openness and transparency is critical to citizen trust and involvement in our democratic society – without Government in the Sunshine, civic engagement cannot bloom. Through ongoing monitoring of the state’s public records and open meetings laws, and the education of government officials and the citizens they serve about those laws, the Foundation promotes the public’s constitutional right to oversee and to participate in the governance process.

Ocean First Institute is a non-profit organization with the mission of ocean conservation through research and education. Our organization is unique because we value the synergy between research and education. The purpose of our research is to protect ocean wildlife and critical habitats. We use the stories and experiences from our field work to educate and inspire young people in classrooms all over the world.

At the First Narayever Congregation we participate in a community that is both richly traditional and gender egalitarian. We follow a traditional approach to Jewish prayer, valuing the beauty and depth of ancient prayers in Hebrew. At the same time, we have equal roles for men and women in all aspects of the service. Members of our congregation come from a wide spectrum of Jewish experiences. Some are encountering Judaism for the first time, while others have had years of intensive study. We value including every person in ways that are right for him or her, and we encourage you to participate in ways in which you feel comfortable. Services: Services are held every Friday night (6 pm), on Shabbat (9:00 am), and Sunday morning (9 am), as well as on Yom Tovim. Congregational members routinely assume the role of leaders for our services, and all are invited to take an active role in our davening. Opportunities to learn the traditional liturgy are provided.

Humanity First Canada is a leading humanitarian relief and development organization. It seeks to provide disaster relief and community development services to several poverty-affected communities in Canada and around the world. Pets Come First, Inc. is strongly committed to our mission of facilitating the placement of stray and unwanted animals into loving homes. We are dedicated to ensuring responsible shelter management within our community, working together to eliminate the critical overpopulation of homeless, stray, and abused animals. Educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering all animals will decrease the number of surrendered and unwanted animals to area shelters and rescue groups. We work in partnership with other rescues, local & state police, Humane Officers, and Dog Law Enforcement Officers to provide monetary and voluntary resources to support and sponsor local animal programs within our community. We will offer emergency placement, food, and medical services for pets.

Teach First Denmark is a non-profit association founded in 2013 We work to give children in Denmark the opportunity to get an education, regardless of social background. We do this by engaging even more skilled teachers for the primary schools and students who need them the most. Our two-year program is a career in elementary school and in education. It is a community for people who want to contribute to strengthening the future opportunities for all children in Denmark. We work closely with primary schools, vocational colleges, municipalities and foundations. We are independent of political, economic and religious interests and are financed by foundation funds for non-profit purposes. A society where no children and young people are excluded from the communities Teach First Denmark works for a society where all children and young people have the opportunity to develop their full potential, for the benefit of themselves and the community. We mobilize civil society in the belief that positive change is created by engaging and uniting people who want to be something for someone and who want to contribute to the community. We are present where the need is greatest, and we always have the children's interests at the center of what we do. We emphasize building our activities around a broad collaboration, because we are never the whole solution, and because together we can see more nuances and create greater changes. More skilled teachers at primary schools with a large proportion of vulnerable pupils A program that attracts the brightest and most motivated university candidates with the talent to motivate and learn from them in primary school. A thorough selection of candidates who have the potential to become skilled teachers and who, in the long term, can also create solutions in a career outside primary school. More professionally skilled and well-connected teachers, not least in vulnerable residential areas. A strong community and network of graduates who support and inspire each other. A steep learning curve through a close link between theory and practice and feedback from a teaching mentor.

To inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Our mission is to enable the world's poorest people to implement and sustain community-managed projects integrating clean water supply, toilets, and hygiene education.
