Hole in the Wall Gang Fund

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia, and other serious illnesses. Through summer sessions and family weekends at the Camp in Ashford, Connecticut and year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics across the Northeast, the Camp serves more than 20,000 children and family members annually. All services are provided free of charge.

The organizations benefitting from this fund are 1) providing direct services to trans youth and 2) advocating for the rights of trans youth in the states that need it most. Save Our Wild Salmon (SOS) is a nationwide coalition of conservation organizations, commercial and sport fishing associations, businesses, river groups and taxpayer advocates working to restore sustainable, harvestable runs of salmon to the Columbia Basin. Our current mission is to restore abundant, harvestable runs of salmon to the Columbia and Snake River Basins. Wild salmon and free-flowing rives are the cornerstone of a healthy environment and vibrant economy in the pacific northwest.

Struggle To Save Ethiopian Jewry

SSEJ is a U.S. based 501(c)(3). Since its founding in 2000, SSEJ has assisted tens of thousands of Ethiopian Jews.SSEJ is the main source of humanitarian assistance for the Jewish community in Ethiopia. Its programs include: feeding centers, medical care, Jewish and secular education, as well as religious and other communal activities. SSEJ also assists Ethiopian Jews in Israel, although the great majority of its funds are devoted to the Jews awaiting aliyah in Ethiopia.SSEJ has low overhead and is staffed in the U.S. almost exclusively by volunteers. SSEJ’s current Honorary Chairman is Senator Joseph Lieberman who succeeded the late Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel.
