World Emergency Relief alleviates the suffering of human beings by providing humanitarian relief and developmental aid to people who have been marginalized by geography, or harmed by natural disaster, war, armed conflict, exploitation, physical or mental abuse, or economic deprivation.
Founded in 1955, the World Rehabilitation Fund is the pioneer organization devoted to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities throughout the world. WRF's mission is: to enable individuals around the world with functional limitations and participation restrictions achieve community and social integration through physical and socio-economic rehabilitation and advocacy; and to prevent disability and reduce disadvantage. WRF believes that all people, regardless of disability, have the right to participate fully in their communities, to attain education and viable employment. Guiding Principles The WRF staff works closely with local and international partners to develop culturally appropriate initiatives that address all aspects of rehabilitation, from incident through reintegration by: Strengthening the capacity of indigenous organizations to better meet the needs of people in states of disadvantage due to various forms of disabilities. Developing community-based programs for physical, psychological, and socio-economic rehabilitation and reintegration. Upgrading skills of rehabilitation service providers such as physicians, therapists, health promoters, nurses, social workers, and vocational rehabilitation specialists. Collaborating with industry and local professionals to enhance vocational training, skills-building, and job placement programs to create sustainable employment and income-generating entrepreneurial opportunities. Training rehabilitation professionals throughout the world in the fabrication and fitting of artificial limbs, orthopedic braces, and other assistive technology appropriate for the geographic area they serve. Ensuring that people with disabilities are part of the team from start to finish.
World Gospel Outreach began in 1984 when Allen and Dona Danforth felt a call to accountability for what they had seen in Honduras. They personally adopted 3 Honduran children, then began a program to rescue and restore children living on the streets of Honduras. The ministry has grown into an international assembly of people dedicated to carrying the light and love of Jesus Christ to the impoverished of Honduras.
One Digital World seeks to reduce global inequality by connecting refugees to computers and essential education to prepare them for integration into new countries and cultures. They do this by setting up computer labs inside refugee camps and shelters and teaching their curriculum which aligns with the UNESCO framework to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
World Cares Center’s mission is to reduce the harm, suffering, and loss caused by disasters through the empowerment of underserved, at risk communities to prevent everyday accidents and react as educated and skilled ready responders when disasters occur. WCC believes that resiliency is best promoted when all facets of communities are prepared to respond to disasters together to mitigate their inherent risks, thereby reducing human and economic loss and suffering.
Heal One World was formed to help connect people in need of preventative health care, non-traditional/complementary modalities, including non-invasive treatments and guidance learning self help techniques, that are generally not covered by insurance, and offer access to this help on a sliding scale, free or donation basis. We help to serve children, those with chronic illness, as well as the general disadvantaged population to be sure everyone has access to all options available to them.

Volunteers can be found in all departments of the organization; in all over 1,700 annually.

Our particular expertise includes bridging the divide between technical solutions and societal realities, including tools for enhancing community engagement, public awareness, and societal equity.
