CANADIAN FOUNDATION FOR PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS

In Canada there are over two million people with physical disabilities. These Canadians have specialized needs for housing, education, treatment and research. Many require assistance with respect to retraining, employment and recreation. The need is great and public awareness is low. The CANADIAN FOUNDATION FOR PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS was established in 1985 to assist people with physical disabilities to live fuller lives and recognize their contributions and achievements. The CFPDP has since initiated a number of successful ventures, some of which are: Great Valentine Gala, Rolling Rampage, WhyNot Marathon, Canadian Helen Keller Centre, The Rotary Cheshire Home, Hall of Fame, King Clancy Awards, Corporate Awards, Jeff Adams CN Tower Climb, WhyNot Magazine, Globe and Mail, Focus On Ability; Toronto Star, Perspectives, The Eternal Flame of Hope,The Canadian Helen Keller Award Luncheon and also promotes awareness of the Paralympics through recognition of their accomplishments.

FRIENDS OF THE DISABLED (RENFREW) INC

Sunshine Coach is a project of Friends of the Disabled (Renfrew) Inc., providing specialized transportation service to people within our community who live with mobility challenges. We operate a fleet of specially equipped vehicles staffed by professional and courteous drivers with a mandate to transport our clients in safety and comfort.

Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors

We strive to make all aspects of sailing accessible. To fulfill this mission, we offer weekly small boat sailing and keelboat sailing out of South Beach Marina, adjacent to Oracle Park.
