VA social workers refer eligible, disabled, veterans that are in financial distress to our organization; we aim to pay their bills within 48 hours. These bills may be rent, mortgage, utilities, auto loans, insurance, auto repairs, home repairs, and many other emergency needs.We serve all of Florida.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund

The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

National Women Veterans United

The mission of NWVU is to ensure that women veterans are made aware and have access and information regarding their VA benefits and entitlements including current or pending legislation that impacts VA benefits. Place special emphasis on ADD disabled, at risk and homeless women veterans to ensure that they have safe and immediate housing or shelter. Advocate for improved service delivery and adequate services for women veterans in federal, state, city and county services. Monitor existing services, delivery and distribution of housing HUD VASH Vouchers. Extend military leadership skills to community youth programs.

Metroplex Veterans Legal Service

UNEMPLOYED VETERANS NEED LEGAL SERVICES.  MVLS PROVIDES LEGAL SERVICES FOR FREE.  We are proud to offer you an opportunity to give back to Veterans in our community.  A big barrier to employment for numerous Veterans are suspended driver's licenses and legal issues.  We provide individualized legal consultations at no cost to Veterans at single issue clinics. Your donation will help Veterans by increasing the number of clinics and expanding the type of legal issues offered at the legal clinics to Veterans.  The Veterans legal clinics we currently provide are for traffic tickets, child support modifications, expunction/orders of non-disclosure, and combat related special compensation.

Gold Coast Veterans Foundation

There are thousands of veterans who are homeless or at high risk, who cannot or do not use their earned benefits, and who suffer physical and/or mental health setbacks. GCVF developed a comprehensive integrated care model that can prevent and reverse veteran homelessness. We intervene to address the root causes of poor life outcomes for the hardest to serve veterans. Our core programs create a safety net and a pathway to successful outcomes. Veterans Connection is the service gateway providing 1 on 1 assistance with benefits & claims, comprehensive support, equipment, etc. Mobile Veteran Outreach saves lives by engaging homeless or home-bound veterans, followed by direct hands-on intervention to address the root causes of veteran homelessness.
