The Fund for the City of New York was established by the Ford Foundation in 1968 with the mandate to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers. For over five decades, in partnership with government agencies, nonprofit institutions and foundations, the Fund has developed and helped to implement innovations in policy, programs, practices and technology in order to advance the functioning of government and nonprofit organizations in New York City and beyond.

Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund) is shaping the future of trees and the arboriculture profession. Established in 2002 via a merger of the International Society of Arboriculture Research Trust and the National Arborist Foundation, TREE Fund has awarded more than $4.4 million in grants toward its mission of identifying and funding programs that support the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge in arboriculture and urban forestry.

The CHFT Charitable Fund continues to develop and provide innovative programs. The fund has assisted hundreds of co-op members through our Scholarship Program, The Here to Stay Fund. The Fund is working with co-ops to create a Green Roof at Hugh Garner Co-op and to assist the in the redevelopment projects at Campus Co-op in Toronto. The LifeLink Legacy Fund was established to support the LifeLink Foundation's efforts in organ and tissue donation and transplantation. The Legacy Fund has emerged into a boundless support system for pre- and post-transplant patients in need of financial assistance. The Legacy Fund also provides funding for critical research and programs to improve organ and tissue donation and transplant.

Helping build awareness and fund research for the prevention, treatment and cure of children's injured nerves. CHIN UP Fund holds events to raise funds in support of the CHIN UP Clinical Scholar Chair at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children.

The mission of the GO Fund (Global Opportunity Fund) is to provide vulnerable women and children in Africa with the skills, resources and opportunities they need to lift themselves permanently out of poverty.

Brookside Scholarship Fund is a scholarships, student financial aid service in Canton, OH, which was founded in 2006 . Brookside Scholarship Fund is a subordinate organization under Brookside Country Club.

Karatu Education Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community of Karatu, Tanzania. Proceeds of the fund are used strategically to build and restore education facilities, and to improve the quality of learning in Tanzanian Schools. Karatu Education Fund also provides support to existing organizations with social service projects in the areas of healthcare and environmental preservation.
