THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT PROPERTIES IN SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS WHICH HAVE ARCHITECTURAL, HISTORIC, EDUCATIONAL, OR GENERAL CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR PUBLIC EDIFICATION AND ENJOYMENT.

Whitesbog Village is a historic company town and farm with 25 historic buildings, blueberry farm fields, cranberry bogs, hiking trails, reservoirs, streams, a picnic grove and the Elizabeth White Gardens. In the early 1900’s, Whitesbog was the largest cranberry farm in New Jersey and its founder, Joseph J. White, was a nationally recognized leader in the cranberry industry. In 1916, Elizabeth C. White collaborated with Dr. Frederick A. Coville of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and successfully developed the first cultivated blueberry here at Whitesbog. Elizabeth developed a nursery here, built her home, Suningive and her gardens of native Pine Barrens plants. Our mission is to restore, protect and enhance historic Whitesbog Village, and to preserve and interpret the White family legacy, inspiring audiences of all ages to experience the origins and past innovations of cranberry and blueberry culture and the rich and unique ecology of the NJ Pine Barrens.

We strive to contribute to a world where urban and rural communities take responsible care of their environment, work consciously to conserve and protect natural resources in sustainable ways, and preserve historical assets and heritage for the benefit of future generations. Our mission is three-pronged. Conservation: Create significant and sustainable environmental change, specifically focusing on climate change, water conservation, food security, waste recycling, sustainable energy, preservation of endangered fauna and flora and greening projects that incorporate poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihoods. Education: Increase capacity and expertise of the southern African environment community, by transferring skills, providing mentorship and building supportive networks for the development and sustainability of the environment sector. Innovation: Use modern technology (e.g. GIS) capacity to enhance conservation efforts and to pioneer socio-ecological approaches to protected area management.

(BCT) was established in 1983 as a non-profit charitable organization supported by memberships, donations, and grants. Our mission is to preserve open space, natural resources, and the rural character of Brewster and to promote a conservation ethic. BCT owns and has conservation restrictions on more than 200 parcels of land. By the end of 2022, BCT had protected more than 1,500 acres of environmentally important land.

To address park access and equity by enhancing Denver’s park system through the mobilization of financial and popular support for land acquisition for new parks and improved park amenities.

Mission statement: To provide opportunities and promote ethnic cohesion through education. Our Aims: To deliver high quality, accessible educational programmes, both full time and part-time, to young people and children from the tea estates in the hill country of Sri Lanka; To effect social transformation in tea estate communities by highlighting the importance of community service, and instilling it as a core value in the youth through a series of practical programmes that develop their skills to give back to their communities; To improve youth employability and increase employment options outside the tea estates by facilitating the development of high-standard English language skills and professional skills; To facilitate the development of the emotional health of young people, enabling them to strengthen their positive coping strategies in order to with the complex societal issues that exist in their communities.

Our vision is to empower all children to avoid the education poverty trap caused by inadequate school readiness due to lack of access to high quality Early Childhood Development learning programmes. We achieve our vision through the holistic model we have developed, by: creating top quality learning environments in which principals, teachers and learners can flourish and grow, assisting principals to develop their education-provision businesses, making them sustainable and professional, training principals and teachers to provide a top class education to their learners empowering parents to actively support their children through training and development initiatives, providing empowerment for all stakeholders through development of resources, including physical and information technology infrastructure.

To purchase and permanently protect privately held forest lands in the buffer zone of Sinharaja World Heritage Rainforest to secure its buffer zone, create bio-diversity corridors to connect fragmented rainforest patches and restore damaged ecosystems.

WillStrong is dedicated to providing financial support for research to bring more precise and effective treatments to children and young adults diagnosed with acute myeloid and other high-risk leukemia. We aim to raise awareness and advocate for more research dollars aimed at pediatric cancer research as well as we fund specific research happening now.

As a non-profit organization focussed entirely on dog welfare, we’re on a mission to share our love of dogs. We have two core goals:1) We want to help as many dogs as possible in the United States to find loving homes – and to live happy and healthy lives.2) We want to help dogs overseas who are being exploited or suffering harm – and transform the way people think about and value dogs around the world.
