In our culture, befre the arrival of Erou0pena to North AMerica, "Two Spirited" referred to an ancient teaching. Our traditions tell us of people who were among us that had the gift of living their lives in both genders, spiritually, physically, that of both male and female. The Two Spirit identity does not match Western concepts of gay, lesbian or bisexual, nor does their cultural history or personal life stories. 2-Spirits is a nonprofit social service organization whose membership originally consisted of Aboriginal lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people in North America. Due to the AIDS epidemic, the organization was prompted to have health, support and advocacy expertise. 2-Spirits programs and serivces include HIV/AIDS education, harm reduction tools and education, health promotion and practical support for Two Spirited people and other Aborginal persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Families and loved ones also have access to these services and information.

United Way of Southern Nevada unites the community to improve people’s lives. With the support of a committed group of strategic partners, they create bold and positive change for Southern Nevada through innovation, leadership and collaboration. Through their focus on Early Education, High School Achievement, Post-Secondary Attainment and Workforce Supports we fight to break the cycle of poverty and provide the foundation for a stronger community for all.

Help Rescue Animals: In the past this fund has donated to national organizations committed to rescuing animals, like the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Donations made to The Golden Hour Fund will be split evenly between Baby2Baby and Crew Nation. Baby2Baby: Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty, ages 0–12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. They have been working around the clock to provide millions of essential items to children impacted by COVID-19 and have distributed 15 million essential items, including diapers, hygiene, formula and more to children across the country. Crew Nation: Live music inspires millions around the world, but the concerts we all enjoy wouldn’t be possible without the countless crew members working behind the scenes. As COVID-19 puts concerts on pause, we want to extend a helping hand to the touring and venue crews who depend on shows to make a living. Crew Nation was created to do just that. Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music. Crew Nation is powered by Music Forward Foundation, a charitable 501c3 organization, that will be administering the fund.
