Human Organ Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of scientific advances in the ability to create human organs for transplant use through tissue and cellular sciences. Human Organ Project provides grant funding for researchers and for efforts to translate breakthrough scientific advances to clinical use. The organization seeks to assist in driving the scientific and clinical state of the art to the point where transplant patients can receive organs made from their own cells, reducing or eliminating transplant waiting lists and the need for ongoing immunosuppressive therapy.

After School Through our P.L.A.Y. Program we promote involvement in physical, cultural, and artistic activities for youth in our community. This program can benefit and enhance the health and well-being of all participants, and will inevitably lead to opportunities that will allow for personal growth and the attainment of individual potential.

The Human-Animal Connection is an educational training program designed to bring out the best in people and animals. We bring therapy animals to anyone experiencing stress or compassion fatigue in the line of duty -- Veterans, health care providers, and first responders. Our services are offered free of charge to people and we use a structured method of therapeutic interaction based on mutual respect, gentleness, and empathy with the goal of increasing resilience and well-being.

Chicago Human Rhythm Project empowers artists and communities to express culture and identity through rhythm and percussive arts. Through the production of inspiring performances, education programs, and innovative business models for artistic collaboration, CHRP catalyzes diverse communities to foster social reconciliation and economic sustainability through rhythm. CHRP, which began over 30 years ago presenting an annual dance festival rooted in the African American and Irish American traditions of “hoofing” and tap dancing, now reaches 20,000+ young people and adults annually through its year-round programs.

The Mission of Center for Human Services is to change lives and build futures through programs that strengthen and support youth and families.CHS was founded in 1970 as Headrest, a substance abuse street outreach program for youth in Stanislaus County. Fifty-two years later, we continue to partner with city/county agencies, schools, non-profits and community groups to serve children, youth and adults throughout Stanislaus County. Over the last 40 years, thousands of people have improved their lives immeasurably just by learning these principles.

Our programs and services support people to achieve meaningful participation in the workforce, and in day-to day-life in the community. We have programs that support adults with disabilities, mental health population, at-risk youth, mature workers, 50 years or older and anyone facing barriers to employment.
