The mission of The Pablove Foundation is to invest in underfunded, cutting-edge pediatric cancer research, inspire cancer families through education, and improve the lives of children living with cancer through the arts. We help kids with cancer live – a love-filled life today, and a cancer-free life tomorrow.

For more than 30 years, the Valerie Fund has operated camp happy times, a one-week overnight camp experience for any child aged 5-21 who has or has had cancer, regardless of where they are treated. The Valerie Fund offers camp happy times free of charge, including transportation, meals and on-site medical care.

The New School University's mission is to educate women and men, from all walks of life and all parts of the globe, who want to pursue learning in a free and creative association unconstrained by conventional boundaries, for their own self improvement, the advancement of their professions, and the improvement of the city and world in which they live. The New School is a progressive university in the heart of Greenwich Village, New York City.

To honor the life and legacy of Kirshnik Khari Ball (known to many as "Takeoff"), The Rocket Foundation has been established to support programs which are saving lives through proven, community-based solutions to prevent gun violence. The first round of funding will be split among four organizations focused on community-led solutions to end gun-related violence: Community Justice Action Fund, H.O.P.E. Hustlers, LIVE FREE, and Offenders Alumni Association.

The Carter Center, in partnership with Emory University, is guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering; it seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health. The Bail Project is a non-profit organization designed to combat mass incarceration by disrupting the money bail system ‒ one person at a time. We believe that paying bail for someone in need is an act of resistance against a system that criminalizes race and poverty, and an act of solidarity with local communities and movements for decarceration. Over the next five years, The Bail Project will open dozens sites in high-need jurisdictions with the goal of paying bail for tens of thousands of low-income Americans, all while collecting stories and data that prove money bail is not necessary to ensure people return to court. We won’t stop until meaningful change is achieved and the presumption of innocence is no longer for sale.

Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy and clean. To fulfill our mission, we use science, education, community action, and advocacy. Our passionate team conducts hundreds of beach and community cleanups each year, informing people about the root causes of pollution along the shorelines and in their neighborhoods. We advocate for strict water quality regulations that protect the health of both humans and the aquatic life who call local creeks, rivers, and the Santa Monica Bay home. In the past year, Heal the Bay sponsored-Assembly Bill 1066 to protect people who participate in water recreation activities in California. Our Nothin' But Sand public group cleanups were accomplished with 5, 800 cleanup volunteers that helped remove 111,000 pieces of trash from Los Angeles Country beaches, rivers, and neighborhoods.

The Jed Foundation works nationally to promote emotional health and prevent suicide in student populations. To achieve this end, the organization collaborates with the public and leaders in higher education, mental health, and research to produce and advance initiatives that: Decrease the stigma surrounding emotional disorders and increase help-seeking in college and other student populations Increase understanding of the warning signs of suicide and the symptoms of emotional disorders among students Build awareness of the prevalence of suicide and emotional disorders among students Strengthen campus mental health services, policies, and programs
