The WOW Foundation is an independent charity based in the UK that works globally, born out of a project conceived by the trailblazing theatre director, Jude Kelly CBE whilst artistic director at Southbank Centre in London and established as an independent Foundation in May 2018. Our Values are Celebration; Courage; Intelligence; Equality; Empathy; Reflection WOW's vision is to be a leading voice in achieving a gender equal world by 2030. Our mission is to build a global movement towards gender equality for all, through creative programming, redefining networks, advocating for equality and developing people. The WOW Foundation (WOW) is the fast-growing global movement for gender equity, building a strong, independent network of leaders and festivals for change across the world. Current trajectory predicts 132 years before global gender equity is reached (WEF 2022 Report). We urgently need this to change. We produce ground-breaking, intersectional, arts-led festivals that amplify and connect the creativity and expertise of women, girls and non-binary people around the world. Each year culminates around International Women's Day in March with our annual global showcase, WOW London, the largest of all our festivals, which brings together the highlights from our global community to the Southbank Centre, London, reaching an audience of 30,000. WOW is committed to working with partners from all sectors and in particular with businesses that express a clear and genuine commitment to intersectional gender equality in their workplace; for their client/customer base; and for wider society. Every year WOW reaches millions of people through our programmes worldwide, delivered through local partnership in over 45 cities across 6 continents and growing. All our work leaves a legacy of bold, creative and connected individuals to advance this transformation. This is our global community of Changemakers. Through this network we are enabling new conversations, strengthening initiatives and building communities of diverse people building visible, vocal and active allies in the drive towards a gender equal world. Underpinning all The WOW Foundation's work are exciting and unusual alliances across sectors and across society that progress and drive our movement to bring about a gender equal world. "Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world" - United Nations Gender equality is the issue of the 21st Century. The time is now to address the underlying issues that stop women and girls all over the world from achieving their potential, and celebrate what what has already been achieved.

The Thiel Foundation defends and promotes freedom in all its dimensions: political, personal, and economic. How do we do this? 1) By supporting innovative scientific research and new technologies that empower people to improve their lives. 2) By championing organizations and individuals who expose human rights abuses and authoritarianism in all its guises. 3) By encouraging the exploration of new ideas and new spaces where people can be less reliant on government and where freedom can flourish.

The Bethania Foundation, also known as Bethania Kids, is a Christian Mission that is bringing wholeness and hope to orphaned, abandoned, disabled and desperately poor children in India. Bethania Kids provides these children shelter, food, clothing, education, medical services and spiritual care through four residence homes, nine care centers and two rehabilitation centers. The message is simple: Jesus loves children and cares deeply for them regardless of the circumstances of their birth. Through His love, they will change their world.

The Ssubi Foundation undertakes the following activities in Uganda, East Africa; 1.providing financial aid and school supplies (including school fees, uniforms, scholastic materials, medical costs, meals and transportation); 2.supporting the existing Ugandan school system by, building new school blocks or renovating existing schools, providing scholastic materials, and providing training and/or competitive salaries to teachers; and, 3. establishing micro-financing opportunities to help Ugandan families start small businesses.

Since 1999, we’ve been guided by one single mission: to create a better world for animals and the people who love and need them. The Petco Foundation has invested millions in adoption and medical care programs, spay and neuter services, pet cancer research and numerous other lifesaving initiatives—always investing wisely in organizations with the most lifesaving impact for animals. In partnership with animal welfare organizations and 1,500 Petco stores across the country, we help bring pets together with loving families every day.

The Desai Foundation's mission is to empower women and children through community programming to elevate health, livelihood, and menstrual equity in rural India. We focus on sustainable development through programs in menstrual health, vocational training, and health and hygiene. Our goal is to create dignified pathways for individuals to dream beyond their circumstances. We believe in nurturing and building self-reliance, and our programs are designed to develop the skills, resources, and opportunities needed for communities to thrive. Our approach is community-led and focused on long-term impact, ensuring that our work is both meaningful and sustainable.

The Moss Foundation's mission is to Motivate, Encourage, and Inspire children in Detroit in three ways: Housing, Education and Residential Treatment Facilities. Motivate (Housing): We want to MOTIVATE current and prospective residents to become homeowners so that our children have stable environments to learn and play in. Encourage (Education): We want to ENCOURAGE our children to become EDUCATED ENTREPRENEURS. We provide annual scholarships to Detroit children who are majoring in business with an interest in entrepreneurship. Inspire (Residential Treatment Facilities): We believe that every Detroit child should have access to mental health Children are truly an Inspiration and we support our children with residential treatment facilities.

While we do have our own PEC Fund and accept donations to this Fund, we currently manage 10 other funds, funds established by your neighbours and local County organizations. When you select "DONATE NOW" the funds are listed under the Fund/Designation option, with our PEC Fund listed first. You can donate to any of the 10 funds as well as the PEC Fund by selecting the fund of your choosing here. A Community Foundation can also manage endowment funds which are set up by individuals or families who want to leave a legacy to the community. Metchosin’s coast, meadows, forest, woodlands and mountainous areas include some of Canada’s rarest species and ecosystems. Being located in the rainshadow of the Olympic Mountains has produced a mild, seasonally dry climate that favours flora and fauna that are unique in Canada. Our Garry oak woodland is one of the rarest ecosystems in Canada, featuring displays of camas and fawn lilies that draw admirers from far and wide. The remnant old growth Coastal Douglas-fir forests at Mary Hill and Rocky Point are considered globally significant. The Metchosin Foundation was started in order to preserve our rare species and the forests and meadows that they inhabit. To that end we work with landowners to ensure that the landscapes they love will be protected into the future. Facilitating and supporting conservation covenants is the main tool at our disposal to help preserve these ecosystems.

One of Canada’s finest and last remaining grand estates, featuring architectural, landscape and interior designs of the 1920’s and 1930’s, Parkwood was home, from 1917-1972, to auto baron R. Samuel McLaughlin (founder of General Motors Canada)and his family. Parkwood is praised by Canada’s Historic Site and Monuments Board as “a rare surviving example of the type of estate developed in Canada during the inter-war years, and is rarer still by its essentially intact condition, furnished and run to illustrate as it was lived within.” The majestic estate that was once a private enclave experienced by a select few is now a National Historic Site, open year-round, to be enjoyed by all. The Parkwood Foundation has successfully raised $5 million to date, for conservation and preservation of this magnificent estate. Your support will help us continue to preserve this important heritage site, for th education and enjoyment of all.

The SHARP Foundation is a Calgary based, non-profit, charitable organization that provides a spectrum of integrated (medical, physical, psychosocial and spiritual aspects) care to our community's most vulnerable persons living with HIV/AIDS. We offer hope, dignity and compassion in a safe, non-judgemental environment. SHARP currently operates 4 residential care facilities: • Project Kathleen - 24/7 supported care for women with complex health/psychosocial profiles • Beswick House - a 24-hour supportive living environment for 10 people living with HIV / AIDS, including palliative care support. • Scott House - a program to address the needs of clients who require support to successfully establish themselves into independent living situations. • Project 2011 - Provides longer term housing and supports for individuals who have demonstrated an ability to live more independently in a group home setting.
