Our mission is to stop family violence and sex trafficking, make victims safer, hold batterers and traffickers accountable, and provide long-term support for victims and children through collaboration and coordinated services.

California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice utilizes coordination, advocacy, and legal services to fight for the liberation of immigrants in detention in California. We seek to empower immigrants in detention and their communities through technical assistance, education, and participatory defense strategies, while also advancing advocacy, policy and litigation initiatives consistent with the goals of abolition and freedom for immigrants in detention.

Justice for Children and Youth

HOW WE ARE ORGANIZED Justice for Children and Youth is the operating name of the Canadian Foundation for Children, Youth & the Law, Inc. The Foundation is an Ontario non-share capital corporation with charitable status. It is administered by a 15 member Board of Directors who are elected at our Annual General meeting. The corporation itself is made up of members who pay a yearly fee or one life-time fee (sustaining member). Justice for Children and Youth has a small staff of 4 lawyers and 2 support staff. In addition we have many volunteers, students and others who work on specific projects on a contract basis. In addition to representing clients, our lawyers also perform public legal education and law reform work. One lawyer spends half of the time working on community development projects and outreach.

These freedoms are paramount and embody the very values comprising our democratic society. They are: Freedom of Religion and Conscience Freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression Freedom of Peaceful Assembly Freedom of Association Equality before the law: Section 15 of the Charter enumerates the human right held by each and every Canadian to be treated equally before and under the law, and to be afforded equal protection and benefit of the law without discrimination based on race, ancestry, ethnicity, age, gender or other such personal characteristics. This right holds each and every Canadian subject to the same laws, and ensures that no individual or group shall receive special legal privileges.

Mercy Home seeks benefactors who believe in the miracle of God's mercy and in the integrity of those who care for the health and safety of our children. Mercy Home is committed to raising public awareness of the plight of all of society's at-risk youth in order to encourage support of programs that would enable them to begin their own process of healing.
