CATIE B CHARITIES INC

Although Catie B Charities serves as a channel for receiving donations for the camp, the nonprofit’s chief mission is to help families whose children are fighting debilitating medical conditions. It is named in honor of Jason Baker’s sister, Catherine, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 16 years old. Catherine endured numerous surgeries after the diagnosis and her family faced numerous challenges in navigating the health care system. Catie B Charities provides care navigators for families to help them with the coordination of health care services.

JOHN B. AIRD GALLERY

The John B. Aird Gallery occupies a 2,400 sq. ft. space on the first floor of the Macdonald Block, an administrative office building in the heart of Queen’s Park, the seat of the Government of the Province of Ontario. Annual attendance is in the range of 15,000 people per year with daily attendance averaging 40 people per day and attendance at exhibition openings and other gallery activities of 3,500 people per year. The Gallery’s stakeholders and supporters include members of arts organizations affiliated with the gallery, as well as professional and emerging artists and art students affiliated with educational institutions and artist run organizations across the province.
