Justice For Children

Our mission is to raise the consciousness of our society about the failure of our governmental agencies to protect victims of child abuse, to provide legal advocacy for abused children and to develop and implement, on a collaborative basis where possible, a full range of solutions that enhance the quality of life for these children.

Mathari's Children Fund

To help impoverished children succeed in life. We enable children to access schools and we help them to stay there, by paying fees, teaching life skills, providing counseling when problems arise, providing medical help when needed and making sure every child has at least one square meal every day. We provide both formal education and technical training for children who would otherwise suffer hunger, disease and permanent poverty.

CHILDREN ARISE MINISTRIES

Children Arise seeks to be a catalyst for change in desperate communities. We hold the long-term vision of seeing whole nations transformed by inspiring and enabling the children to rise out of hopelessness, pursue their dreams, and ultimately lead their nations forward into true prosperity. Children Arise seeks to accomplish this through qualified midwifery care, the alleviation of poverty, the provision of healthcare, education, and vocational training, and the implementation of sustainable micro-industry to help communities build capacity and help families achieve self-sufficiency. Children Arise believes that the only way to reach our goals is through inspiring and enabling individuals and organizations in the developed world to partner with people in need in the developing world. Together, we can achieve sustainable development within healthy communities.

Bolivian Children Foundation

Through the establishment of a joint partnership agreement with Bolivian grassroots organization, Fundación Niños con Valor, BCF implements programs and projects that aim to alleviate poverty and its effects suffered by children and their families. These currently include residential programs for children who have been orphaned, abandoned or removed from high-risk situations. In the future, we hope to expand and include outreach programs to help stabilize at-risk-families, and community programs aimed at establishing new and supporting existing educational and health programs specifically benefiting mothers and children.

AHope For Children

There are one million orphans in Ethiopia, many of them fending for themselves. AIDS incidence in the general population is about one in six persons and the epidemic is growing. A similar proportion of children orphaned by AIDS is also infected with HIV. There are about 120,000 new cases of HIV infection among children each year. The country is overwhelmed by the needs of their orphans.

Children of Vietnam

The mission of Children of Vietnam (CoV) is to “build brighter futures for poor, orphaned, homeless, disabled and vulnerable children in vietnam” with two overarching goals: a) to assist children and families overcome the cycle of poverty, ill health, and homelessness; b) to provide immediate aid to children and families in crisis. this mission is driven by our founders’ beliefs, which guide our daily efforts: every child deserves to be happy, every child deserves a bright future, every child deserves a future without poverty, every child deserves to develop to his or her full potential, we are making this happen one child, one family, one community at a time, we are doing this by educating, healing, sheltering and nurturing. CoV strives to achieve its goals through six initiatives further outlined below: healthcare, education, housing, nutrition, empowering foundations for women & their children, and hope system of care for children with disabilities. With the dedicated support of its founder, Ben Wilson, who works without pay, CoV’s 13-member board of directors, multiple volunteers, one and a half full-time us-based employee, 4 part-time hourly assistants, and a staff of 9 in-country Vietnamese nationals work to implement these various initiatives at the grass-roots level to provide maximum impact.

Kayla's Children Centre

Twenty years ago, Zareinu started from the hearts of a few who saw a need to help children with a wide range of developmental challenges. The goal was to provide special chidlren with the vital therapies and treatments combined with an adapted education rich in Jewish teachings and traditions. Today, Zareinu has an excellent reputation as the only Centre of its kind in Ontario - a place where children receive all the supports they need under one roof.
