The Moog Center For Deaf Education

We teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to talk and we teach others to do it, too.The Moog Center provides a supportive and stimulating learning environment for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. From the time we begin working with children and their families, our program focuses on helping the children learn to use spoken language well enough for that to be their means of communicating. Our emphasis on very young children underlines our belief in capitalizing on the critical learning period for language, namely birth to early elementary years.

Women's Resource Center of the Rockies

Founded in 2007, Women's Resource Center provides trusted, caring support to men and women involved in unintended pregnancies. Over 50% of all pregnancies are unintended, and of those almost 30% end in abortion. WRC touches lives through our free counseling, education and support services. In addition to free pregnancy tests and limited obstetrical ultrasounds, WRC provides accurate information about a woman's 3 choices when faced with an unexpected pregnancy: parenting, adoption or abortion, empowering clients to make the best choice, based upon facts not fears, for themselves and for their child. Material assistance (mom & baby supplies) prenatal and parenting curricula are also available free of charge to clients, as well as abortion recovery, miscarriage and grief and loss support groups.

Health Care Center For The Homeless

The mission of Health Care Center for the Homeless, Inc. (HCCH) is "to provide quality health care services that improve the lives of the homeless and medically indigent people of our community." HCCH provides multiple health services for homeless and low-income housed but uninsured or under-insured residents of Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties in Central Florida.  Services are provided through multiple Orange Blossom Family Health locations in the tri-county area and Orange Blossom Pediatrics in Orlando. Program areas include primary and preventive medical care; oral health services; behavioral health and substance use disorder counseling; pharmacy services; vision services; and mobile medical and dental care.  HCCH operates a residential TB shelter for homeless patients suffering from infectious tuberculosis.  Our street outreach program, known as the HOPE Team, meets our unsheltered homeless clients where they live - on the streets and in the woods.  Our permanent supportive housing team is helping our chronically homeless community members to acquire housing and wrapping supportive services around them. In 2018 (most recent numbers available), HCCH cared for 19,059 unique patients resulting in almost 50,000 encounters throughout our multiple health programs. Over 4,300 of the patients we cared for were experiencing homelessness; over 92% were living at or below 100% of the poverty level; and over 74% had no form of health coverage.
