Black Trans Media is committed to building the power of black trans people, and our trans/communities of color. We work at the intersections of racial and gender justice confronting racism and transphobia in institutions and our everyday lives. Black Trans Media exist to shift and reframe the value and worth of black trans peoples by creating and supporting media that amplifies the black trans experience. We organize community based events around issues of injustice and liberation with black trans folks at the center of our work and leadership. Our projects and collaborations connect black trans people to each other, as well as the larger public, and sustainable opportunities to build, showcase, heal, and celebrate our lives.

Black Girls Can is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization empowering black girls and women owning, leading, creating, innovating, and inspiring in their communities and at large.   Black Girls Can helps foster the next generation of black girls and women into entrepreneurship, STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and civic engagement by offering free hands-on educational programs, workshops, and events.

The Black Organizing Project is a Black member-led community organization working for racial, social, and economic justice through grassroots organizing and community-building in Oakland, California.

Black Farmer Stories is a 501c3 nonprofit that aims to preserve the history, legacy and agricultural knowledge of Black farmers across the U.S. by telling their stories and documenting the vital role they have held, and continue to hold, in the origin of our country’s food. Not just about agricultural heritage - this ongoing multimedia project shares the individual stories of Black producers, unpacking the realities of each of their experiences.

Black Cat Rescue is a no-kill(http://www.nokilldeclaration.org/) cat rescue organization in Boston, MA.Did you know that black cats are only half as likely to get adopted as cats of other colors? Our all-volunteer network of foster homes in the Greater Boston area is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless black cats and kittens by providing quality foster care while actively seeking loving, permanent adoptive homes.
