The project employs local women in the production of a jewelry, home goods, and clothing and connects them to the global market so they can sell their work. All proceeds earned through these sales, as well as donations made, are invested in various development initiatives in the community.

The Project’s earlier emphasis on environmental and sustainability education for younger learners has broadened in more recent years to encompass the learning needs of the whole community, including those that can be met through community activities and programs for the adult learner.
