Since 1945, North Carolina Wildlife Federation has worked for all wildlife and habitat, bringing together conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts, hunters and anglers, government and industry to protect North Carolina’s natural resources. From the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks, NCWF is a diverse community of people who value wildlife and wild places and the many ways to enjoy them.

The International Wildlife Coexistence Network provides expert interdisciplinary assistance, training, collaboration, and shared research to enable communities around the globe to coexist with wildlife. The IWCN is an inclusive organization. We share our informational resources and provide widespread support for all who seek to peacefully resolve conflicts with wildlife. Our interdisciplinary teams include scientists, agricultural managers, researchers, ethicists, economists, government specialists, educators, indigenous leaders, technical engineers and more who are helping to pioneer new ways to live with wildlife. When possible, we connect our experts with communities that need help transforming wildlife conflicts into non-violent sustainable solutions. Transform our relationship with Nature: When we work with nature, instead of against her, we benefit in so many ways: from clean waters and safe food supplies, to resilient ecosystems that support both local wildlife and local communities.

To date the Coalition has successfully leveraged over $1.8 billion in state, local and private dollars for over 1,600 parks, trails, wildlife habitat and working farm projects. As a nonprofit citizens group, the Coalition is supported by generous individuals, corporations, and organizations from across Washington and does not receive any of the public funding it advocates for – every penny of public funds go directly to projects in your community.

To raise awareness among Guatemalans and visiting tourists about the need to conserve natural resources through a program of education and information dissemination. The Community and Wildlife Foundation is a small new non-profit founded in June of 2011 with the purpose of providing the largest variety of programs of any non-profit.

The Yukon Wildlife Preserve is a 700-acre wildlife viewing facility located in Whitehorse,Yukon Territory, Canada. It is home to several species of northern ungulates, including muskox, moose, caribou, mountain sheep, elk, wood bison, and mule deer. It offers a full range of educational programs to the general public, including guided interpretive tours, self-guided exploration, on-site, experiential school programs for local students and summer Nature Camps for children. It also serves as the rescue and rehabilitation centre for northern bird and wildlife species in the Yukon.The Yukon Wildlife Preserve team is made up of a dedicated volunteer board of directors who employ 6 full-time staff to deliver the various programs and anywhere from 6-15 additional employees, usually summer students, during the busier summer months.The Preserve also hosts interns, volunteers, post-secondary research programs and northern environmental monitoring activities.

Dedicated to the preservation of New Jersey's wildlife and habitats through education, conservation and rehabilitation. How we achieve this... Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge sits on 171 wooded acres on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands. The Refuge includes the Woodford Nature Center, an outdoor housing area with more than 60 native residents, and a wildlife rehabilitation hospital. The overall mission of the Refuge is to serve as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems for all. To that end, Cedar Run engages in: ecologically based land management; the operation of a Federally and NJ State licensed hospital facility that cares for more than 4,500 injured, orphaned or displaced native wild animals each year; the education of over 20,000 students annually through our various on-site and outreach programs; and serves as an active resource to the greater New Jersey community on all wildlife and habitat related questions and issues.

NECWA is a volunteer driven nonprofit based in southeastern MA. Our organization combines educational outreach with research and conservation activities to protect and rescue unique marine wildlife in the coastal waters of New England. We work within communities to help them to integrate with the wildlife around them, with the most benefit to both. NECWA aims to teach the next generation of field biologists and conservationists by providing internship opportunities for high school and college students to gain experience in the field of marine science. The data collected from our projects enhances our understanding of the fascinating marine wildlife found here. This data is shared with researchers in the United States and worldwide

Sandy Pines Wildlife Cntre, located in Napanee Ontario, is a licensed Wildlife rehabilitation centre covering an area from Toronto to Montreal and North to Ottawa. We take in all injured and orphaned animals and birds that are native to Ontario. Our facility is located on 60 acres of land with a hospital area and outdoor caging an flight aviaries. We hire staff in the summer but the centre is staffed by volunteers throughout the year. We are open 24/7 for emergencies and phone calls.
