Haiti Medical Missions of Memphis provides quality health care to the people of Haiti through a comprehensive primary care health clinic and rehabilitation in Croix des Bouquets near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Clinic Saint Esprit (Holy Spirit Clinic) provides primary and preventive health care, dental and eye care, outpatient surgery and serves 200 patients per day. The Saint Charles Rehabilitation Center provides outpatient rehabilitation therapy for children and adults.The clinic also provides onsite educational training experiences for visiting, medical/dental and nursing faculty, residents, students, and private health care volunteer providers from abroad. Volunteers do not need to speak Creole/French since translators are available onsite.
THE VIRGINIA HOSPITAL CENTER MEDICAL BRIGADE'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF COMMUNITIES IN HONDURAS. FOUNDED IN 1999, TO PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF IN HONDURAS, THE BRIGADE NOW DIRECTS ITS EFFORTS IN PROVIDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND INTERVENTIONS SUCH AS CLEAN WATER, EDUCATION, NUTRITION AND THE TRAINING OF COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS. IT CONTINUES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF SERVICES CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE IN HONDURAS AND TO COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL PARTNERS.
GO-MED was started informally during the latter half of 2009 by several nurses, surgeons, and anesthetists who have been on previous overseas medical missions with other excellent organizations, such as Operation Rainbow and Health for Humanity. They decided that they wanted to expand their range, however, in several ways. They wanted to: 1. include a variety of surgeries according to the expertise of the surgeons who volunteer for a given mission; 2. include, as patients, adults as well as children; 3. include health education focused on the prevention of illness; 4. include a variety of global destinations, with perceived need being one of the critical criteria for selection.

These exceptional services will be delivered in a caring and compassionate manner, focusing on meeting the needs of the community. White Plains Hospital's mission extends beyond inpatient and outpatient care to include assessing and improving the health status of the local community, the professional community and the business sector.
