Crossnore Communities for Children grows healthy futures for children and families by providing a Christian sanctuary of hope and healing.

The mission of ChristianWorks for Children is to represent the goodness of God to children and their families by continuing Jesus Christ's example of service.

Children awaiting parents (CAP) is dedicated to finding loving adoptive families for children waiting in the foster care system. Roughly half a million children in the U.S. have been removed from unsafe homes, and of these, 108,000 are free for adoption. CAP seeks to find adoptive homes for america's hardest to place children.

Hendrick Home for Children is a 24 hour residential facility for children who cannot live with their biological families. By emphasizing spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual growth, the children are taught to live productive lives. An environment is provided also for single parents and their children to stabilize and strengthen their lives while developing an ability to live independently.

With the provision of residential facilities, Chisholm Foundation for Children provides Chisholm Services for Children a place for children 12 and younger to live and grow in a therapeutic envirnoment. Chisholm Services for Children with this support is is the only non-profit organization in Central Nova Scotia offering a long-term care program, which specializes in early intervention. Chisholm is dedicated to guiding children who face severe adverse circumstances like neglect and abuse, to a realization of self-worth. Chisholm helps children develop skills and capacities to function successfully in a community setting and grow as healthy, stable individuals.

Friends of Special Children is a volunteer organization working to improve the lives of special needs children of all ages in our community.

Our Children Making Change is a way for children of all ages to contribute to charities in their communities through raising money, by performing age-appropriate chores. It is an opportunity for children who are too young to volunteer to become active participants in their community.

Education is the key to change the world. It improves the quality of life of the individual, society, and the world as a whole. The contribution to educational support for under-privileged children is a gift of a lifetime. In 2000, Caring Hand for Children was founded to educate under-privileged children in India become self-sufficient. With community support and the help of volunteers, we are sponsoring over 2,500 under-privileged children in various programs. Caring Hand for Children continues to be a non-profit organization with no administrative staff. Thus, 100% of donations support the cause.

Turning Points is the largest social service agency for children in Philadelphia supporting the needs of more than 12,000 men, women and children throughout the city. We offer programs that help families in raising safe, healthy, educated, and strong children by partnering with caregivers to develop and strengthen protective qualities and by offering them the tools, skills, and resources needed to ensure their children's optimal development.

Friends of Honduran Children, Inc. was founded in 2001 to offer education, shelter, opportunity, and hope to Honduran children at risk. In partnership with the Honduran organization Sociedad Amigos de los Ninos, we sponsor children, give scholarships, lead mission trips and brigades, mentor Hondurans in business development, raise funds, and respond to whatever needs arise. Our mission is to give these children a brighter future.
