DELTA FARMLAND AND WILDLIFE TRUST

Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust (DF&WT or the Trust) is a non-profit charitable society established in Delta, BC in 1993. Our board of directors represents a partnership of farmers, naturalists, and community-minded individuals working co-operatively as a team to find solutions to land-use problems on farmland in the community. Recognising the significance of the Fraser delta to large numbers of migratory and resident birds, the Trust was formed to empower local farmers and naturalists to co-operatively implement farm stewardship programs and promote sustainable agriculture. The Trust, along with many local residents, believes that the survival of the soil-based agricultural industry in Delta is essential to the survival of the nationally and internationally important species of wildlife in this area. With this in mind, we work with farmers on a cost-shared basis to encourage sustainable farming practices that consider wildlife needs.

Fish & Wildlife Foundation Of Florida

The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to protect Florida's iconic animals and plants and the lands and waters they need to survive. We work most closely with and support the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Since our founding in 1994, we have raised and donated nearly $45 million for conservation and youth outdoor education and recreation.

Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary

Located in Jacksonville, Florida, we serve Duval, Saint Johns, Clay, Nassau and Baker counties. A great deal of our visitors are also international. The mission of Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is to provide a safe, loving and forever home to endangered big cats and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. Our primary focus is in the rescue of cats from serious situations. Once an animal is taken in at Catty Shack Ranch, they have a loving, forever home for life. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, arctic foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are “honorary cats").
