The Saint John PRC is a non-profit, charitable organization that is supported by individuals, businesses and churches. All of the Pregnancy Resource Centre’s services are provided free of charge. The Center exists to aid women who may not be aware of their options. It provides information and support as they work through their feelings. The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is a consumer advocacy organization whose twin missions are to conduct innovative research and advocacy programs in health and nutrition, and to provide consumers with current, useful information about their health and well-being. In general, CSPI's three main goals are: To provide useful, objective information to the public and policymakers and to conduct research on food, alcohol, health, the environment, and other issues related to science and technology; To represent the citizen's interests before regulatory, judicial and legislative bodies on food, alcohol, health, the environment, and other issues; and To ensure that science and technology are used for the public good and to encourage scientists to engage in public-interest activities.

The Jerome Golden Center For Behavioral Health

The mission of the Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health is to help clients build resiliency, facilitate recovery and achieve reintegration into the community by designing and delivering behavioral healthcare services that meet their needs and expectations. To that end, culturally diverse, multidisciplinary staff works in conjunction with other community resources to assist individuals and families to strengthen and promote healthy development. Respect for personal dignity and the right to privacy, confidentiality and safety are of the utmost concern, as is the provision of excellent, competently delivered, evidence-based, affordable care. Services begin with a thorough assessment, and the development of an individualized treatment plan designed to meet the identified needs and goals of the persons and/or families served.

ESTABLISHED IN 1978, THE CENTER FOR HOSPICE CARE (CHC) IS AN INDEPENDENT, COMMUNITY BASED, NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIVING THROUGH HOSPICE, HOME HEALTH, GRIEF COUNSELING, AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION WITH OFFICES IN SOUTH BEND, PLYMOUTH, ELKHART, LA PORTE AND MISHAWAKA. CHC SERVES A NINE-COUNTY AREA IN NORTHERN INDIANA, INCLUDING ELKHART, FULTON, KOSCIUSKO, LAGRANGE, LA PORTE, MARSHALL, ST. JOSEPH, STARKE, AND PORTER COUNTIES. CHC'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIVING THROUGHOUT NORTHERN INDIANA, AND OUR VISION IS TO BE THE PREMIERE HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE ORGANIZATION FOR ALL END-OF-LIFE ISSUES.
