We work to curb the needless removal of children from everyone they know and love and the unnecessary placement of those children in foster care, often when family poverty is confused with "neglect." The FFC-NWT provides support services to foster families across the territory. one small part of this is providing 6 week-long summer camps for at risk children and youth from across the territory between the ages of 7-18.
LCNB has worked since 1988 to promote literacy and change the lives of over half of New Brunswick adults experiencing literacy challenges in their everyday lives. LCNB also works directly with children, families and adult learners.
