It is the mission of THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND OF CONCORD AND CARLISLE to assist deserving young men and women from the Concord-Carlisle community in achieving a post-secondary school education. The Scholarship Fund of Concord and Carlisle awards scholarships to fill the unmet financial need of students pursuing educational opportunities at accredited colleges, universities, and technical institutions. All scholarships are need-based. The trustees share and express the commitment of our towns by taking an expansive, but inclusive, view of the Concord-Carlisle community. All students served by The Scholarship Fund of Concord and Carlisle have a connection to Concord and/or Carlisle.
The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) provides children in need with the opportunity for a quality, values-based education in a safe environment. The fund provides partial-tuition assistance to economically disadvantaged children attending private and parochial schools within Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union counties. Tuition assistance awards are based upon need without regard to gender, ethnicity, race or religion.

The organization has invested $5B in research since 1946, served 3.2M patients in the last decade, and has conducted more than 1M cancer screenings in underserved communities.
