Blue Ribbon Project

The Blue Ribbon Project is designed to be a community outreach in both the prevention of Child Abuse and a support network for abused and neglected children. At the Blue Ribbon Project, we understand that victims of child abuse carry a burden throughout their lives and the effects of abuse last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a variety of functional outreach programs that directly serve abused and neglected children in our community, youth in foster care, as well as adult survivors of abuse and neglect. Through our dedication to these children, we remain committed to achieving our vision of raising awareness around child abuse in our communities and acting as advocates for those affected by child abuse and neglect. The Aninga Project

The Aninga Project is a person-to-person based educational initiative that is currently funding the education of 7 girls in Uganda - 5 based on Canadian funding and 2 based on Ugandan funding. Any money that you donate to our organization goes towards the education and related expenses of the girls who we support. This money covers everything from their school fees to pencils, books, maize and jerry cans. The Aninga Project's funds are wire transferred directly from the project's bank account to our volunteers in Uganda who ensure that all of the girls' needs are taken care of. It only costs $35/month to cover all expenses for a girl going to school in Uganda, so every donation goes a long way.

This project is designed to be a model that can be used all over the world to protect endangered species, better the economies of the host country, provide skills training, jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities for the indigenous population.

Promise Project (NY)

PROMISE PROJECT provides an educational path for underserved children suffering from learning disabilities, evaluating their learning difficulties and getting them the support they need. PROMISE PROJECT is proud to collaborate with Columbia University Medical Center, in affiliation with New York Presbyterian Hospital, to create the most effective and comprehensive program in New York City committed to helping underprivileged children living with learning disabilities. The PROMISE team of clinical specialists evaluates and advocates for kids that require special educational services or other interventions.
