CHOSEN PEOPLE MINISTRIES (CANADA)

"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved" (Romans 10:1). In 1894, Rabbi Leopold Cohn founded this outreach to the Jewish people after he himself had come to know Jesus the Messiah. Now a world-wide evangelistic organization, Chosen People Ministries was established in Canada in the 1940s. Currently, we have ministry staff in Toronto and Winnipeg. We share the Good News with Jewish (and Gentile!) people, planting Messianic congregations, holding special outreach and teaching events and meeting with many seeking individuals one on one. We also offer an extensive teaching ministry to the local church, helping them understand the Jewish roots of Christianity and how they can reach out to their own Jewish friends and relatives.
