Mid-Autumn Youth Summit (MAYS), a regional celebration that creates sports and educational competitions for Santa Clara and San Mateo County high school students to play and learn about Vietnamese culture with the purpose to preserve and extend Vietnamese American heritage. MAYS is organized by Viet-American Youth Association (VietAYA) and its Coalition, composed of education and community leaders who care about the success of students. Our goal is to foster leadership skills through teamwork which allows students to build trust and stronger bonds amongst each other. Annually, we have between 250 - 450 student participates, representing 6 -12 schools across the Bay Area. The following programs to participating students: Scholarships for juniors and seniors, life-skill leadership workshops, Olympics games, Cultural Jeopardy contest, Public Speaking contest, Cultural Pitch game, Debate, and Cultural Talent Show contest.
*O.A.E.R. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue here in the southern part of Ohio founded in 2015. *We are dedicated to saving our beloved American Eskimo dogs no matter what age. We have taken a puppy as young as 5 weeks old to dogs as old as 17. *We take shelter dogs, we take owner surrenders, we will take an Eskie that is need of saving or help.
