AST members are sought out as transplant experts and advocates. Other transplant organizations, policy makers, regulatory agencies, academic institutions, and the general public look to the AST for guidance, research, and resources related to transplantation.
Founded in 2006, American Lab Rescue's Mission is to help prevent pain and cruelty, to place all adoptable animals in suitable homes, with the goal of zero euthanasia. Our Goal is to help these homeless dogs, no matter their ages find loving homes and get a second chance at life. The shelters, humane societies and rescuers we work with are all dedicated to help these animals get a second chance at life. Through August of 2016 we have found homes for over 6000 dogs.
The American Amputee Soccer Association has dual missions. One mission is to promote and develop the sport for the benefit of participants with limb differences. We look to grow the sport for juniors and adults and for women and men. We look to accomplish this through outreach programs at the local levels to help interested players become introduced to the sport, maximize their proficiency, build self confidence, learn the power of teamwork, and build a strong social network. Our second mission is to select, develop, and train the elite amputee soccer athlete to represent the United States in international competition.
The American Educational Scholarship Fund's mission is to provide solutions to the increasing cost of college for students. Our purpose is to contribute to a world where all students have equal access to education. AESF positions itself as an effective mentoring organization in an effort to contribute to the development of future leaders and contributors in our immediate community and the world. AESF has a long history of contributing to educational organizations and mentoring young people. As the demand for assistance increased, a more systematic approach was needed to adequately reduce the financial barriers for students. Thus, AESF’s new mission and organization were born.

NARF's objectives are to protect the rights of and seek justice for tribes and Native peoples. NARF currently represents more than 60 tribes in 20 states on a wide range of critical matters, including land into trust, federal recognition, subsistence hunting & fishing, federal trust responsibilities, protection of sacred places, voting rights, sovereign immunity, Indian Child Welfare, water rights and environmental issues.
American Service to India was founded to provide much-needed assistance to the poor and needy of India, primarily in the areas of health and education. It has sought to accomplish this through a variety of programs that address immediate needs as well as others that provide assistance over the long term. These programs have included the funding of projects that ASTI's board of directors feels most adequately meet those needs. In all cases, ASTI's main emphasis is to relieve the suffering of the poor of India as much as possible within the restrictions of its financial resources -- the vast majority of which are funded by donations from individuals and/or organizations in sympathy with ASTI's goals.
