The Global Fund for Widows is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering widows and female heads of households to overcome poverty through skills-based training, job creation, and micro-finance. Ultimately, our goal is to help widows achieve financial stability, self-sufficiency, accountability, and importantly, become a role model to her own children and to others.The Global Fund for Widows applies its programs throughout the developing world by forming strategic partnerships with local NGOs, which are dedicated to the empowerment of widows. These local NGOs work in close collaboration with the Global Fund for Widows to develop unique solutions for empowering widows that are culturally and socially appropriate, as most importantly – Sustainable.

As a community funder, the board strives to address the needs of our citizens through funding of existing programs, or working with others to create a process for service to those in need.

The Sustainable Livelihood Development Fund (SLD Fund) was created by service-minded expatriates and Sri Lankans who met through similar missions to promote sustainable livelihood development projects to empower women head of household, with disabled spouse and abandon with children or to physically challenged individuals. Also to provide educational assistance and training to ensure children’s and young adult’s successful livelihood in the future and to support conservation initiatives.

The Empty Stocking Fund empowers  parents and guardians of children living in poverty in the communities we serve by providing  them with an opportunity to give their children gifts at Christmas time.

The mission of Women’s Global Empowerment Fund is to support women through economic, social and political programs; creating opportunities while addressing inequality, strengthening families and communities.

THE SARASOTA FIRE FIGHTERS BENEVOLENT FUND EXISTS TO SERVE OUR FELLOW EMPLOYEES, THEIR FAMILIES AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IN THEIR TIME OF NEED AND TO ASSIST THEM WITH HANDLING THEIR CRISIS WITH DIGNITY.

Donating vs. Investing: Donations go toward our operating expenses, including mentorship and coaching of our loan clients. Donors receive a tax receipt. Our loan fund is 100% financed by individual investors who earn a small return and can withdraw their investment at the end of the term. Alternatively, individuals can donate to our guarantee fund. The Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of women and children who have been forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Our mission is to provide vital support and assistance to these vulnerable individuals, facilitating their relocation to safer environments. Leveraging the extensive experience of our board members in fundraising and coordinating humanitarian causes, we are committed to raising the necessary funds to support medical, educational, humanitarian projects.

The Tiny Tim Rescue Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization started by CFDA Award winning designer and animal activist John Bartlett - to honor the memory of his three-legged pit bull rescue named Tiny Tim. The organization is dedicated to raising and distributing funds for animal rescue groups who pull innocent animals directly from high-kill shelters thereby saving the lives of countless dogs and cats. The money raised by the Tiny Tim Rescue Fund goes to providing these animals with the proper medical attention, training, affection, human interaction and foster parents they desperately need so that they will one day find a loving, forever home. Through our ongoing efforts, generous individual and corporate donations and through the sale of John Bartlett's Tiny Tim Collection (available on this site), The Tiny Tim Rescue Fund is able to advance it's mission to help give every dog and cat a chance for a better, happier life - a life all animals are entitled to.

Founded in 2000, the Maasai Girls Education Fund works to improve the literacy, health and economic well-being of Maasai women in Kenya and their families through education of girls and their communities.

The Justin Gimelstob Children’s Fund was established in 1998 when Justin’s success in professional tennis presented him the opportunity to help others who were less fortunate. The Fund was established with the mission to provide financial support to a variety of children’s charities and related causes in Northern New Jersey and the New York Metropolitan region. To date, the JGCF has held five events and raised more than a million dollars to donate to a variety of charities.
