Healing with Horses Ranch is a 501(c)(3) equine-facilitated therapy center that promotes increased independence and resilience through the power of the horse. By creating space for healthy relationships between horses and humans, we help students learn life skills in a safe, inclusive environment. We don’t want to just touch lives, we want to change lives

The Playing With Heart Foundation’s mission is identify gifted youth athletes and help remove the financial barriers that often prevent them from playing year-round competitive sports at the highest level they are capable.

To be a servant to those in need of assistance and the less fortunate by providing significant resources such as education, clothing, daily necessities and emotional support.

Assessment and training focused on pairing veterans with shelter dogs to become working teams, meeting each others physical and emotional needs. The veterans are educated and trained on ways to take care of his/her dog to maintain the skills desired in the dog. We also support the veteran and the dog in maintaining a healthy relationship, creating and maintaining the animal/human bond.

Our mission is to recover our communities through educating, enhancing, empowering, strengthening, and improving women and families personally, professionally, and socially. We are passionate about helping women recognize their needs and potential to be restored as successes in society through study, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

To Heck With Cancer is a nonprofit organization that raises money for Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) research. Julia Heck, diagnosed at age 25 with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, founded the organization with the hope to increase awareness about the need for MBC research.

We are a member-based organization. Our members elect a national Board of Directors who are responsible for setting the strategic direction of Dying With Dignity Canada. The Board has hired an Executive Director to carry out day-to-day operations and execute our strategic plan. We are funded by membership fees and donations, both of which are tax deductible. To join as a member of DWD, make your donation (minimum $10) to the membership fund.

Our programs include: Summer Breakfast Programs (July & August)servicing children who depend on school breakfast programs during the school year for their daily nutrition. December breakfasts giving children (and their families) who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience the Christmas Season a morning especially designed for them. They receive a nutritious hot buffet breakfast, puppet show, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as other fairy tale characters, a present to take home for Christmas morning and a lifetime of cherished memories. Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings, is served to the families of children attending our Summer Breakfast Program locations. Food vouchers are distributed to families in need of assistance at Christmas time.

The Kids with Cancer Society strongly believes that comprehensive family centered programs are essential to effectively treat children with cancer. Programs and services provided by the Society support the following: - Children between the ages of 0 - 17 - Residents of Northern Alberta and N.W.T. - Siblings of children with cancer - Childhood cancer survivors - Bereaved families - The childhood cancer medical community
