Children's Hospital's mission is to provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare, which recognizes the special needs of children, through excellence and the continuous improvement of patient care, education, research, child advocacy and management. The hospital was evacuated as a result of Hurricane Katrina and has set up specialty clinics in Baton Rouge and Lafayette to provide medical care for our displaced patients. We have also setup primary pediatric clinics for these children. Children's Hospital as incurred expenses as as result of Hurricane Katrina, which will exceed $40,000,000, and we are seeking donations and other forms of financial support.

For more than 75 years and in 130 countries and territories, SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it grow up with the care, relationships and support they need to become their strongest selves. Extreme circumstances like natural disasters and war put children at an increased risk of losing parental care and protection when they need it most. With your support, our emergency response teams are able to quickly assess what is needed and ensure that affected children are cared for and protected.

Mary Bridge Children’s serves more than 300,000 children each year. More than half of the families served are low-income and more than 60 percent of Mary Bridge Children’s families are on Medicaid. Because of donations through the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation, we can provide children with the care they need. Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation continues to support uncompensated care and clinical and community programs not fully covered by insurance. National Children's Alliance (NCA) is a not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote and support communities in providing a coordinated investigation and comprehensive response to child victims of abuse through Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multi-Disciplinary Teams.

The Children’s Museum at Holyoke is dedicated to its mission to enhance the educational and cultural awareness of all children through the arts, the sciences, and the world around them. The Museum features participatory exhibits that invite interaction and programs which promote learning and self-discovery. Parents and adults who accompany children to the Museum are strongly encouraged to participate in the exhibits and have fun and enjoy the amazement through the little ones eyes.

The mission of The National Children's Cancer Society is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families worldwide.We serve as a financial, emotional and educational resource for those in need at every stage of illness and recovery. In the United States, we ease the financial burdens that accompany major illness, give crucial support and address the challenges of survivorshiwe provide lifesaving pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies to facilities that treat children with cancer.
