The Covering House

Jubilee House Community

Tree House Books

Tree House Books is on a mission to grow and sustain a community of readers, writers, and thinkers in Philadelphia. Founded in 2005, our vision is that every child has access to books and every opportunity to fulfill their dreams. We are a Giving Library and Literacy Center in North Philadelphia with a dual purpose: we provide free books to the community, and Out of School Time (OST) programs that increase literacy skills, and promote a lifelong love of reading and writing in children from their earliest moments, through high school, and beyond.

Forbes House Museum

Inspired by the Forbes family legacy, the Forbes House Museum fosters action and dialogue around civic engagement and cultural enrichment. The collection itself provides visitors with insights into the tastes and the professional and personal pursuits of four generations of Forbes family members, who made their early fortune through the China trade of the 1800s. The Forbeses also made significant contributions to their local, national and global communities. Through tours, events, programs and exhibits, the museum draws on that long history to enhance the educational, civic and social life of the community.

West End House

West End House is an innovative and vibrant youth development agency whose mission is to inspire and enable youth of all backgrounds, particularly those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. We provide outcomes-driven programs in critical areas of youth development for 1,700 youth ages 7-24 who reside in Boston's most under-served communities. Our high-impact programs, delivered by a dynamic team of professional staff and volunteers, ensure that our youth succeed in four core areas: Academic and College Success, Leadership and Career Development, Visual and Performing Arts, and Fitness and Nutrition.

House Rabbit Network

The House Rabbit Network is an organization formed with two primary purposes: To rescue homeless rabbits and find them good indoor homes and also to educate the public about rabbits and their care. These activities may include: providing foster care for discarded domestic rabbits and arranging for adoption to permanent indoor homes; assisting humane societies and shelters with rabbits; providing spay/neuter surgery and veterinary care through arrangements with area practitioners; rehabilitating and socializing mistreated or neglected animals; permanently caring for animals who cannot be placed in adoptive homes due to serious health or behavioral problems; and educating the public on responsible pet ownership and humane practices.

Animal House Project

Animal House Project (d/b/a Chester County Pet Food Pantry) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization on a mission to help companion pets stay at home and out of animal shelters by providing donated pet food and pet care services to pet families in financial need. We service families facing financial crisis in Berks, Chester, and western Montgomery counties. Our Families include returning Military Personnel; retired military veterans; Seniors living on a fixed income; domestic violence and single parent families; Medically challenged families - Cancer; PTSD; Parkinson; MS; ALS; and Alzheimer's Disease. At times, we are the last option for families to keep their companion pets at home.

MCDERMOTT HOUSE CANADA

McDermott House Canada will be the touchstone of excellene in palliative care in Canada. OUR GOALS: * Provide pain and symptom management. * To offer emotional, social and spiritual care to patients and their loved ones, while respecting diverse cultures, values and beliefs. * To create an environment that enables the patient and family members to make informed choices and to develop the best possible plan for care. * To provide the optimium quality of life for patients and their loved ones. We envision single rooms with additional accomodation for the family member who wishes to stay overnight. Enhanced amenities for the rooms will be determined as the project unfolds. The overall environment created will be a warm, home-like space that will provide the optimum quality of care for patients and their families.

Covenant House California

Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reach out to at-risk homeless youth living on the streets and offer them hope and opportunities to turn their lives around. We help abused or neglected youth who have nowhere else to go. A large number have been thrown out of their homes while others have aged out or left the foster care system with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Since 1988, CHC has impacted the lives of more than 160,000 homeless youth out of our Los Angeles and Bay Area locations. More than 80% of our funding comes from private donations.
