Toronto Alliance Church is engaged in a plan to "re-build" a work that once was in the downtown areas of Toronto. Over 100 years ago, the Church was doing a dramatic work amongst the poor and underprivileged. That work fell to the wayside but is now being picked up again. Toronto Alliance Church plans to purchase a building in the Parkdale community to create a permanent work and presence of the love of God to all those who live there. We are also establishing a training centre where urban church workers from other works in Toronto and across Canada can gain valuable mentoring and hands-on experience.
