International Voices Project

The International Voices Project (IVP) champions the work of global playwrights by creating opportunities to experience new and contemporary international plays on Chicago stages. IVP debuts voices from the world's stages through commissions, translations, and production. We collaborate with consulates, cultural partners, and universities throughout the Chicagoland area and partner with national and international theatres to promote global playwrights in their USA premieres.

Women's Law Project

The Women’s Law Project creates a more just and equitable society by advancing the rights and status of all women throughout their lives. To this end, we engage in high- impact litigation, advocacy, and education. Our core values are the belief in the right of all women to bodily integrity and personal autonomy; dedication to listening to women and being guided by their experiences; and commitment to fairness, equality and justice.

Baltimore Hunger Project

Baltimore Hunger Project is dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. We are bridging the gap between Friday and Monday by consistently providing weekend food packages to children identified as food insecure, in a compassionate and dignified manner. We raise awareness about the effects of hunger by establishing partnerships with community members, other organizations, and decision makers.

Project Limelight Society

Project Limelight brings participants together with talented mentors who offer encouragement, instruction and motivation while working towards their mutual goal of a theatrical performance on a professional stage. We want to unleash the imagination, awaken curiosity and give youth in our community the opportunity to experience the magic of applause. Facing your fears and overcoming your personal barriers gives young people a sense of confidence, self-assurance and creative freedom that will be carried forward outside of the program and into their school and home life. Young people who are involved in arts programs outside of school have a higher rate of success scholastically and are more likely to stay in school. Generally a Project Limelight session runs for 4 months. Participants are introduced to many facets of the performing arts through 4–6 weeks of professionally lead workshops. The remaining time focuses on rehearsing and performing in a full length stage production.

Government Accountability Project

The mission of the Government Accountability Project is to protect the public interest through promoting government and corporate accountability, advancing occupational free speech and ethical conduct, defending whistleblowers and empowering citizen activists. We pursue this mission through our Nuclear Safety, International Reform, Corporate Accountability, Public Health & Safety, Food Integrity, Homeland Security, Climate Science Watch, Litigation, and Legislation programs.

Half Percent Project

The Half Percent Project was created to educate foundations and philanthropists on the plight of animals and the need to consider animal welfare as part of their giving portfolio. We help animal welfare organizations improve their structure, governance, and operations and obtain access to funds. We will provide the “playbook” to transformation and funds to support this. We want to encourage philanthropists and foundations to direct a half percent of their annual giving towards supporting animal welfare.

The Soldiers Project

The Soldiers Project is committed to providing a safety net of psychological care for post-9/11 Veterans, regardless of their discharge status, and their loved ones. We also work to educate the general public on how the psychological consequences of war affect not only those who serve, but also their loved ones at home and in our communities. All counseling is done by licensed professional mental health therapists in their private, professional office spaces.

Rainbow Harmony Project

Rainbow Harmony Project is Winnipeg's GLBTT community chorus. We present two major concerts each year and make several guest appearances as well as perform at festivals within Winnipeg and throughout Canada. In addition to providing the Gay community and their friends with a place to sing, RHP also does its best to provide support and funding for other GLBTT organizations, particularly Camp Aurora, a summer camp for GLBTT youth.

Project Open Hand

Project Open Hand is a nonprofit organization that provides meals with love to seniors and the critically ill. Every day, we prepare 2,500 nutritious meals and provide 200 bags of healthy groceries to help sustain our clients as they battle serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of old age. We serve San Francisco and Alameda Counties, engaging more than 125 volunteers every day to nourish our community.

Christian Appalachian Project

Christian Appalachian Project's mission is Building Hope, Transforming Lives, and Sharing Christ's Love Through Service in Appalachia. We provide basic needs and services for children, their families, and seniors living in unimaginable poverty here in Appalachia. We operate 16 human service programs in 11 counties and our services extend across 13 Appalachian states through the distribution of food and durable goods through our Operation Sharing Program.

Montana Hope Project

The goal of the Hope Project is to make dreams come true for critically ill children in Montana. The conditions the children face typically require medical intervention and physically, emotionally, and financially drain the children and their families. Ninety percent of all proceeds from fund-raisers, corporate and private donors, and memorials go directly to wishes for Montana children. The average wish granted costs about $8,800, and the most requested wish is a trip to Walt Disney World.

Veterans Yoga Project

Veterans Yoga Project (VYP) is on a mission to support recovery and resilience in our veterans, families and communities. Through the teaching of the skills and methods of the VYP Mindful Resilience program (breathing, meditation, guided rest, mindful movement and gratitude), we aim to support veterans who are facing physical and/or psychological (PTSD, depression) challenges as a result of their service. VYP offers classes, at no charge, across the country, an online practice library and healing retreats for veterans and their caregivers.
