The Corporation is a Public Benefit Corporation within the meaning of Oregon law and is a non-profit, charitable cultural association, organized within the meaning of and for purposes consistent with Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (see Exhibit B). The purpose of the Corporation is to promote Ukrainian heritage, traditions and values; to provide assistance and cultural enrichment to Ukrainians in the greater Portland metropolitan area; to support the need for relief, peace and development of civil society in Ukraine; and to carry out activities in support of this mission, consistent with the purposes and restrictions of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
ACCO's mission is to provide information and support for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to provide grassroots leadership through advocacy and awareness, and to support research leading to a cure for all children diagnosed with this life-threatening disease.
