TEACHING URBAN YOUTH TO BUILD GARDENS.

Our mission is to provide assistance to those in-need within our community. We want to not only provide furniture, but also to inspire hope by showing our neighbors that we care about them.

Our math education reform strategy for public schools marries insights from the Civil Rights organizing traditions and the appearance of math literacy on par with reading and writing literacy caused by the shift from industrial to information age technologies. In the public arena we raise the issue of math literacy as a constitutional right and within a nucleus of young minority students the issue of math literacy as knowledge work. This 21st-century technological shift pushes mathematics literacy to the forefront of the literacies required for citizenship in democratic countries. It injects into this technological era the creation at the grassroots level of a demand for change among the people most debilitated by the current arrangements.

We are working to empower and inspire Detroit’s young people through improvisation, an art form that fosters confidence and teaches a creative and collaborative approach to life. We believe every child should have the opportunity and support they need to succeed. We’re using improv to transform how our students view their potential and the power of their voice.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLORSHIPS

Our mission is to support our first responders by providing them life-saving training, equipment, tools, and support.In support of our mission, we will conduct fundraisers with 100% of the proceeds or donated equipment going to our first responders in the field.To achieve 100% contribution of our donations, we will operate an online retail store. Proceeds from the store will cover any business overhead such as postage, webpage costs, salaries, etc. The remaining funds from the retail store will be added towards our first responder initiatives. As of this moment, all of our team are volunteers. In time we hope to bring on full-time employees to dedicate their time to our first responders.Transparency is a core belief of our organization.
