Protect & Defend Trans Youth Fund

Right now, there are hundreds of bills pending in state legislatures across the United States that target trans youth and aim to curb their rights. The impact of fighting these anti-trans bills and policies is felt all year by trans people, their families and loved ones. The organizations benefitting from this fund are 1) providing direct services to trans youth and 2) advocating for the rights of trans youth in the states that need it most. The Coalition for Rainforest Nations (CfRN or the ‘Coalition) assists tropical governments, communities and peoples responsibly manage their rainforests. Healthy rainforests protect against a changing climate, generate needed biodiversity and provide safe habitats.Launched by Coalition members in 2005, the United Nation’s REDD+ Mechanism, designed to incentivize conservation and contribute to the battle against climate change, now includes around 90% of the world’s remaining rainforests. A first in human history!But, it’s only the beginning. To succeed, rainforests must be valued more alive than dead!

For The Nations Refugee Outreach

For the Nations Refugee Outreach provides general educational and family services that help meet the practical needs of refugees and shares with them the gospel of Jesus Christ. We serve refugees from more than 20 countries resettled in the Dallas/Fort Worth area from ages 0-87 by emphasizing education, family services and the Christian gospel message through ESL classes, literacy, tutoring, preschool, citizenship classes, Bible studies, life skills, reading programs, field trips and seminars. We also help connect refugees to food, clothing and health care. Our vision is to bring these proven programs to more and more of the area’s large refugee population.

FULL CIRCLE: FIRST NATIONS PERFORMANCE

Full Circle is the producer of the annual Talking Stick Festival and creates opportunities for Aboriginal artists, writers and performers to express the reality of First Nations experiences and to work in harmony with First Nations traditions while engaging contemporary, interdisciplinary theatrical techniques. Full Circle provides an environment that fosters the development of skills, ideas, exploration, and collaboration.

All Nations Christian Reformed Church

A tradition of service...Our church building on the corner of Charles and Robie Streets indowntown Halifax has been an active ministry centre for more than 100 years. All Nations Christian Reformed Church is blessed to be located here in the heart of our city, continuing a long tradition of faithfully reaching out to our community with the love of Jesus Christ. We offer Sunday worship, education programs, children's clubs, community outreach programs, a food pantry and more. Our beautiful and historic building is over a century old, so it requires ongoing repairs and maintenance. Our congregation is currently raising funds for important -- but costly -- work that needs to be completed in the next few years. We appreciate your support of our ministry.
