Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health is an independently incorporated charity whose purpose is to raise funds in support of Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (formerly Whitby Mental Health Centre) and its partners who provide services and support to Ontario Shores' patients and their families. High priorities for funding are innovative care initiatives, education, research, mental illness awareness and mental health promotion programs, and capital needs.

The mission of the Alcott Center for Mental Health Services (Alcott) is to enhance the quality of life, promote independence and empower individuals living with mental illness to live productive and meaningful lives. The Alcott Center provides high quality treatment and supportive services within a caring, respectful community. The Alcott Center for Mental Health Services has been on the forefront of community mental health services since 1979, meeting the needs of community members who have little to no income and would not otherwise have access to the care they require. In addition to therapy, case and medication management, crisis interventions, trauma-informed studio art classes, the Alcott Center for Mental Health Services also provides supportive housing for people navigating mental health challenges and/or justice-involved reintegration.

Our Vision - All people have the resources they need for mental health and full participation in community life. CMHA-Edmonton Region is a non-profit volunteer agency. It functions as a community centre promoting mental health. It works in partnership with other community agencies to educate about mental health and illness, to advocate for better conditions in the community and to help people build strong supports for community life. This is accomplished through social action, public education, direct service programs, housing and other special agency projects. The agency's operation is governed by the Mental Health Act, the Health Information Act, the Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act, the Companies Act, the Protections of Persons in Care Act and the Personal Information Protection Act.
