In Defense of Animals' mission is to end animal exploitation, cruelty, and abuse by protecting and advocating for the rights, welfare, and habitats of animals, as well as to raise their status beyond mere property, commodities, or things.

The mission of Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF) is to give innocent and helpless human beings of any age, particularly unborn children, a trained and committed defense against the threat of death and to support their advocates in the nation's courtrooms LLDF will accomplish its mission and purpose through the law and education.

The Civil Liberties Defense Center supports movements that seek to dismantle the political and economic structures at the root of social inequality and environmental destruction. We provide litigation, education, legal and strategic resources to strengthen and embolden their success.

Founded in October, 2014, our mission is to provide Self Defense skills to promote empowerment and increase confidence, build on one's self-esteem and self-worth. Our primary focus in on the the members of our Santa Barbara Community who are under-served and under-represented (Seniors, At Risk Teens, Sight Impaired to Completely Blinds, Brain Injured, suffering from Cerebral Palsy and those who are physically/mentally challenged).

In October 2022, the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund was launched as a donor advised fund at the Tides Foundation to support efforts that advance women’s rights and health. The Fund will be conducting various fundraising efforts and the net proceeds will be granted to organizations that are having a positive impact on the lives of all women and girls.

EarthRights is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment, which we define as “earth rights.” We specialize in fact-finding, legal actions against perpetrators of earth rights abuses, training grassroots and community leaders, and advocacy campaigns. The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs, and public policy initiatives.
